President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama walk through the South Lawn to Marine One on Saturday. The Obamas spent the weekend at the presidential retreat at Camp David in Maryland for the weekend.
KENNEDY BIRTHDAY SALUTE
President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and Sen. Ted Kennedy chat during a musical birthday salute to Kennedy at the Kennedy Center in Washington on Sunday.
The 77-year-old Massachusetts Democrat was honored by event host Bill Cosby, and Pres. Obama led the crowd in a performance of “Happy Birthday”.
SURPRISE FOR FIRST DAUGHTERS
When Malia and Sasha Obama returned from school on Wednesday, they got a big surprise: a new swing set. While the girls were at school President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama had it installed on the south grounds of the White House within sight of the Oval Office.
According to a spokeswoman for the First Lady, “They squealed with delight upon seeing it.”
The Obamas paid for the 100 percent cedar and North American Redwood structure which has four swings, including a tire swing, a slide, a fort, a climbing wall and climbing ropes. There’s also a picnic table with brass plates etched with the names of all 44 presidents.

it’s a shame that black people always got to set the standard of a good family living. Got to love the Obama’s. As many children and families been in that house, it only seems (besides Clinton) that our new president is a real human! Everybody else was just so fake.

I love the family. He is letting evey one know Yes I am prsident Obama, but I am still and always be Husband Obama and father Obama. Congress always have something to say how he does not where his jacket every where, where congress he is human. We love him more because of it. Leave him along. He is doing a great job and making sure he still give his family as much love, because after his 4 to 8 years as president he still will have his wife and kids. I love my president and love how he is fixing the U.S and I love how he show his love for his family.

I know everybody is going to jump on this…but I think the President takes too much vacation time…i know he has young kids but he should have thought about that before he ran for one of the most powerful positions on the face of the Earth…if it comes down the Sasha and Malia spending time with their Daddy or saving western civilization as we know it..I PICK CIVILIZATION…so what if Michelle and girls don’t get to see him…tough…i know people that just have regular jobs that keep them away from their families…so nobody can tell me that the President even though we are the cusp of another great depression, in the middle of 2 wars, has all this time to be spending at Camp David…he should be working 20 hours a day and practically sleeping on the oval office couch until this mess is under control…and yes..i voted for him…and yes i felt the same way about bush taking so much time off.

I guess you think Jesus took too much time off when he rested on the seventh day! lol! Talk to any Psychologist and they will tell you that the time away from the task is just as important as the time spent on the task. You sound like you’re a high achiever full of pride in he work. Burning the candle at both ends can be a formula for burnout and failure.
Sit back and chill a while. And, don’t forget…if Bill would have been at home with Hillary instead of those late nights in the oval office, Monica wouldn’t have got to loins so easy. Besides, if you talk to Michelle, she’ll probably tell you she needed to blow it out. She’s happy, he’s happy and we all get health care.
