Singer/producer The Dream and his latest signee singer/girlfriend Christina Milian pose for a pic at The Dream’s album release party at Promenade on Monday night in New York City.

In a recent interview to promote his sophomore album, Love Vs. Money, The Dream spoke on C.Mili’s new hair color and whether or not she was “f*cking for tracks” as they say…:

On everyone hating Milian’s new blonde hair
The Dream: I don’t get it! Me and her had this conversation, “Like what the hell are they looking at? Like, maybe it’s something wrong with they computer screen and maybe Rasputia comes up every time they looking at you,” cause I don’t know, I have no idea. Like, I think something is wrong. When we go out the country they go crazy [for her]. I get back here, I read a blog— it makes no sense…That shit look good to me.

On whether Milian’s motives should be questioned
The Dream: To clear this up, “Oh, she fuckin’ for tracks” and this shit, I be like these muthafuckas must be stupid. It’s a recession ain’t nobody got to fuck for tracks. We basically giving them away. There’s a clearance! When I started to really want to build my label, I went looking for her. I was like, where is she at? I need that person over here. She’s talented and she’s a good person. I met a lot of people. That’s what I told Johntá. We know a lot of people that ain’t good people. You don’t do that to good people.

On what he did when he saw Johnta Austin, Usher and Jermaine Dupri publicly dissing Milian’s new look:
The Dream: I called all of them. First person I called was Johntá Austin… He ain’t know she was over here with Radio Killa like that, but I’m like in any event why are y’all, Grammy winning, critically-acclaimed songwriters, gentleman— It doesn’t make any sense to do that. I didn’t get it. I really didn’t get it. That’s like me doing that. Maybe I just have an ego that’s going to make me come down off my horse to talk about you. It’s not going to happen. Even in the cross of saying anything back, everybody calling “Hey man, what you going to—” Man, I ain’t saying nothing. I’m me. I’ll say everything I want to say on the left side of Billboard charts. Most of my concern with Johntá is; first off, I know you were just goofing off and that you don’t believe that ’cause if you seen her you would try to holla at her. (Usher) called me and told me he was sorry and or whatever. But she on Radio Killa. She feel a certain way about it, then I’m good on you. We can’t even work.

On knowing about Milian’s romantic history (with Nick Cannon and producer Dre)
The Dream: I’m a tell you something crazy. How much I work and how real I am, ’cause the game is so fickle. I was getting ready to do something recently on some business stuff and I was like “You want to come by this particular thing” It was something in Utah. It was Sundance. I was like, “You want to come up here? Mariah is having this party,” I told this to Christina. She was like “Uh, no!” I’m so out the loop on that shit, man, I really don’t give a fuck! Like that shit— I really don’t give a fuck about that shit.

    I knw what the problem is that hair color makes her look older than what she really is. That’s y it looks so weired on her. So it makes her look like a white person dat isn’t aging too well. Please change it back your a pretty girl but dat color is not for you.

She is just trying to remain relevant!!! Sad attempt!! The Dream ain’t really feeling that mess on her head. It looks thick as hell and heavy!!! I can’t wait to see all the hair in the comb from that dye job!!! To strip your hair down to get that color is just madness!!! She looks like one of those chicks from “CatHouse” on HBO!!!

    Well, well, well…I must say, I never want to hit REM sleep again, cause I may have a DREAM as dumb as DREAM…lol. C Mili, as they call her, really does look like a doo doo mama. The hair color is not cute at all. Dark is her color. F’in for tracks…ha! Dream is definitely angry and unable to express himself w/out cursing and umms, which is a sign of ignorance and/or a small vocabulary. He’s mad b/c people are judging.     All i have to say is that christina does not suit blonde hair PERIOD
    its sad when you see a pretty girl like her get ruined with that piss blonde hair and fall victim of the white mans ‘ideal’ of beauty.. It sucks big time because she is selling herself short!
    She is an exotic beauty and being exotic christina, means having beautiful dark hair to match your hot dark looks. Please dont try and imitate artists such as Lady gaga, because that is just plain tacky girl…
    Btw is it me or does Christina look kinda depressed????
    First Dre now The dream…. In my opinion she has never been able to get over Nick cannon and her last album and on and off career has shown that..
    She is either trying to be like Lady gaga (which i mentioned above) ORRRRRR!!!! she is trying to imitate miss mariah carey maybe?????? just a thought!

    Oh my freaking GOSH!!! What the crap was Dream SAYING?? Did he answer ANY of the questions??? Im a little confused about the interview…..they need to really consider rewinding and trying that one again! I promise he was having a conversation with himself.

    As for Miss Milian, I am never the one to hate on someone changing it up….do your thing, screw what everyone is talking about….if you like it, go for it.

    yeah,i didn’t really understand what The Dream wa trying to say but whatever…

    I like C. Mili but for real…when’s the last time she had a hit?I can’t even remember…and the hair looks terrible,forreal…isn’t she cuban?Why when everyone get in the industry all of a sudden they wanna look like a blonde barbie doll?She looked way better with her natural dark hair.
