Actor Tyrese Gibson recently caught up with People Magazine and spoke to them about how Chris Brown is doing amid his media scandal with girlfriend Rihanna. He said it’s taking it’s toll on the young stars:
Although he appears to be really strong through all of this, it’s really taking a toll on his spirit. People like me and Puff, we’re just trying to show him love and keep his spirits up while he’s going through all of the heat, and there are a lot people doing the same for Rihanna.
It’s really hard for him to focus right now on his music, even though he really wants to. At the end of the day, I’m not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up on stage with a lot of people looking at us. And a lot of people forget that he’s 19, she’s only 21. [SOURCE]
Chris is expected to appear back in court on April 6th to finish his arraignment appearance, after being granted an continuance earlier this month.
50 CENT GETS REPLACED
Looks like Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson might not be concentrating on a budding actor career, as we stated recently.
Sylvester Stallone who just announced last week that the G-Unit rapper would be replacing Forrest Whitaker in his new blockbuster action flick, The Expendables, has recast the role once again — to actor/comedian Terry Crews. No word on why he was suddenly replaced.

I agree with Tyrese, people forget that entertainers are human and make the same mistakes we do. Its just that they live their lives in front of a camera and we do not. And of course he’s old enough at 19 to know right from wrong. I totally disagree with what he did since situations can always escalate into more when you allow yourself to lose control as he did and since this has been made public hopefully he gets the help he needs and comes out of this a better MAN. The media has portrayed him to be just a horrific person, but a lot of entertainers have done far worse and we may it hear about it once or twice.
And the Black Entertainers should see how they are portrayed in the media opposed to their white counterparts who are not all squeaky clean but their media coverage is not the same.
