Rihanna was spotted Tuesday night leaving Coco Deville nightclub in West Hollywood. Word is, the singer had an intimate belated birthday celebration after her first b-day party got the axe – due to the incident with Chris Brown.
In more updates with the Rihanna/Chris controversy, Chris Brown withdrew his nomination from Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards and his rep also released this statement today:
Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated.
While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”
In related news, Rihanna and Chris Brown may not be on the same page just yet, but they are on the same track. According to E! Online:
The seemingly reconciled duo have been working on a duet that Brown is hoping to include on his new album, due out later this year, a studio source tells E! News. “They’ve been working on it together,” the insider says.
We have also learned that award-winning record producer Polow Da Don, who has worked with Brown in the past, has been holed up with them at a Santa Monica recording studio for the past several days.
Brown remains free after posting $50,000 bail; his arraignment is set for April 6.

I feel like Rihanna is as bad as Chris in this situation. There are many things that we don’t know about this case and won’t ever know. Both of them won’t testify about what happen that night and Chris will take all blame. Clearly they have moved on and so should the media…. But wait…

I remember working at this job at the age of 16 and I was having sex with a 31 year old women. I am gonna b real here…..I just turned 22 years old and I have been with my boyfriend for almost 7 years. There has been a couple of times in the past when he made me mad, I either slapped him or pushed him. Not once did he ever hit me back, the most he tried to do was hold me down to stop me from hitting him. With that being said, I cannot pass judgement on Chris or Rihanna. You can’t throw stones from a glass house people. Everyone makes mistakes! I am not blaming Chris, nor am I blaming Rihanna but I do feel that people should really look at this situation and think logically. People are calling Chris a woman beater and comparing him to Ike Turner…..that is soooo off base in my opinion. Nobody knows the true facts, and I doubt that we ever will. Rihanna is no innocent in this situation either so I think that everyone should just fall back.

Its so many women in abusive relationships who get murdered in front of there kids and then their kids grow up without their mothers and are seriously affected and some repeat that cycle.
