Jana R. and Nina B. carry signs outside the Los Angeles Superior courthouse on Thursday, March 5, in Los Angeles, California. Both ladies were holding signs in support of entertainer Chris Brown, who was charged with two felony assault charges on Thursday.
It was a media circus outside the courthouse and among that circus was a group of protesters who were marching against paparazzi. Holding signs that said ‘Rihannaslaw.com – Stop Paparazzi’ they walked around the court house for a few hours.
Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra spoke to various media outlets about the case saying:
“If required to testify, she will testify,” Etra.As for how Rihanna is doing now, Etra said, “She’s recovering quite well and she’s doing fine.”
Etra also addressed whether Rihanna wanted a no-contact order, which would prohibit her from having contact with Brown.
“Rihanna opposed that. Rihanna was ok with the so-called level one protective order, which orders Chris not to annoy, molest or harass her. And Rihanna believes that was totally sufficient.” [SOURCE]

Honesty, I feel like the whole police report does not add up. Yes he was wrong for assaulting her, but if it was that bad, (and he supposedly has done this before) then why hasn’t Rihanna’s parents stepped in and why is she not pressing charges? To say, “I support my daughter with whatever decision she makes” or “I support my daughter win or lose” to me is not support…it’s enabling the cycle to continue. 6. It’s sickening to me that even after the official police report has been released, people are still saying…”we still don’t know the whole story”; “this is just Rihanna’s side”. The pic of those two young women is nothing but sad. Let’s be real — domestic violence is one of the leading causes of death and injury in black women in this country. That is a statistical fact and those two ignorant youngsters – not to mention those CL posters who continue to excuse CB’s conduct and suggest that Rihanna must have “done something” to “provoke” him into beating her to a f*cking pulp (eyewitness accounts, not mine) – are a sad testament to the general attitude towards domestic violence in our community.

And fyi, it ain’t just Rihanna’s story described in the report, it’s corroborated by the witnesses who called the police when she was found screaming, bloody and bruised on the street. It’s also corroborated by the pictures of her the night it happened. On CNN they said that the TMZ pic everyone saw was taken quite some time after the incident, and that the photos taken by police immediately after it occurred are much more shocking.
