UPDATES: PHOTOS FROM OUTSIDE THE CHRIS BROWN ARRAIGNMENT / RIHANNA’S LAWYER SPEAKS

March 5th, 2009

Jana R. and Nina B. carry signs outside the Los Angeles Superior courthouse on Thursday, March 5, in Los Angeles, California. Both ladies were holding signs in support of entertainer Chris Brown, who was charged with two felony assault charges on Thursday.

It was a media circus outside the courthouse and among that circus was a group of protesters who were marching against paparazzi. Holding signs that said ‘Rihannaslaw.com – Stop Paparazzi’ they walked around the court house for a few hours.

Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra spoke to various media outlets about the case saying:

If required to testify, she will testify,” Etra.

As for how Rihanna is doing now, Etra said, “She’s recovering quite well and she’s doing fine.

Etra also addressed whether Rihanna wanted a no-contact order, which would prohibit her from having contact with Brown.

Rihanna opposed that. Rihanna was ok with the so-called level one protective order, which orders Chris not to annoy, molest or harass her. And Rihanna believes that was totally sufficient.” [SOURCE]

174, No, the judgement is needed here, we are supposed to call it like it is. I knew the bible card would be pulled out eventually. We are all judging each other on a daily basis, so that argument holds no water, you just judged everyone who spoke against your actions in your last post. You do sound very ignorant, because you can’t explain yourself or your actions, and when you find that you can’t your only course of action is to pull out the “no judgement” card.

Please, spare us all. There is no justification for holding a sign in the defense of a criminal who smashed the face of someone, and to say you are supporting his career is plum foolish. Again, you are very ignorant and have no defense for your ignorant actions. , If you have 10 college degrees it wouldn’t matter because your actions speak louder than your words: ignorance!! I guess it is blissful being ignorant because you seem to think supporting Chris Brown’s career make sense. You’re just another enabler and when it happens to your daughter one day, I want to see your pic on CL with you holding a sign supporting the fools career. Now, don’t be a hypocrit, get that card board box ready to spell out the offenders name ans show your support for his “career” lmao!!!!

We do not know Chris and RiRi personally. We just know them as artist. So, for people to be judging is wrong. We’ll never know the entire truth, just those two. They both need some type of conseling, but nevertheless they’re still very young. They’re both still learning, and going to make mistakes. Dont act like ya’ll dont remember the silly sh@# ya’ll did as a young adult. It’s just unfortuanate that they’re in the spotlight and super RICH, with the whole world watching! I dont see nothing wrong with the two young ladies holding up signs. They are “CB the ARTIST” fans! I love me some CB too! He jams! As for RiRI…..she aiight. Honestly I want both to seek help and to go their separate ways! I dont support a man hitting a women BUT if you dont want to get hit keep yo hands to yourself whoeva you are!!!!!

I think the woman who are supporting Chris are appauling. What in the heck is wrong with them? So ladies help me understand..you boyfriend beats the crap out of you, causes bodily injury and you accept that. Think because obviously you’re not!

What kind of example are you setting for young girls following behind you? “Oh he loves me” “He won’t do it again” “He was just upset” “He’s so cute and yellow”
Do you know thousand woman die each year because of Domestic Abuse? I suppose that doesn’t matter to you because it hasn’t happened to you. Most people have mothers and sisters. So if that happened to your mother it would be accepted and probably her fault.

No man well he’s not a man, no punk is suppose to lift his hand to you. I wonder if he would attack another man like that? Someone of his stature, that would be interesting. What have you girls been taught? Are your mothers or grandmothers, aunties, play mothers, or even fathers talking you? Or have they been abused? Are they the abusers?

Stop! Think! This is not acceptable. For the punks out their who are abusing your girlfriends STOP! take out your aggressions on a punching bag in the gym. Go seek help…but STOP! sending the wrong message to the youngmen and youngladies witnessing this abuse.

mane fuck this shit, chris shouldn’t serve jail time, in my opinion, R.Kelly got away with fucking lil gurls and shit and OJ got away with fucking murder, so fuck this shit he just need anger management, probation, the love of family and he needs take a year off. Rihanna needs counseling and need to go back to Barbados for a while. The both of them need to leave each other the HELL alone…and move the fuck on. They are too young for this shit. Fuck young love. They are too young to be in a serious relationship. I just think they need to find someone outside of the music industry.

Thank you Lord, that neither one of them were my nieces…on the other hand, my nieces has a photo with Chris Brown that she has not yet burned…..

But auntie is already planting subliminal messages in their teenage heads….

I hope these girls’ parents read CL and go through their rooms and burn and throw away everything if only to teach them the lesson that abuse is wrong…..

Cause this is a teaching moment, parents, and not just for your daughters….

People might think I have a problem with women but I don’t. I have no problem with feminism, but radical feminism actually degrades and ridicules feminine behavior. The feminist movement was first instigated not to allow women to work (though it was soon twisted to be) but to ensure women had the choice between staying home with the children, having a real job, or both. That, even, was based on fallacy; women had this choice for a very long time, but most during the 1950’s chose to stay home with kids. Now, militant feminism took this already stupid idea a step further and decided that women should choose the workforce instead of home. They made it seem as if a woman who stayed home with the kids is less adequate than her man. Contrary to popular belief, this attitude leads to less choice for women, not more. Radical feminism has destroyed the American/European society. It has destroyed the family structure and in essence has destroyed our future. I hear these women every day complain about men saying “there aren’t’ any good man out there” The true statement is “there are no good women out there.” These women nowadays are confused, disrespectful; conceited, vanity oriented, lack direction and purpose, deficient in motherly instincts, jaded and stuck in oblivion. No man in his right mind would want to spend the rest of his life with something like that. Back in the day, marriages meant that a woman would be permanently committed to a man, that is why it is customary for the woman to adapt the man’s surname. Whenever your name is attached to anything it shows ownership. When you are at work and you do not want some to eat your lunch, you put your name on it. How do you think the Black man came to having last names like Johnson or Williams? Ownership… In today’s society, I see women getting married and still keep their maiden names. Let me tell you, a woman keeping her maiden name after marriage goes against the basic fundamentals of the meaning of marriage as much as two homosexuals tying the knot. Now I may sound like a narcissistic maniac to the weak minded man and the unconscious woman but what I speak is the truth, the Gospel truth.

Women these days demand respect and to be treated equally and yearn to be a wife or a mother, yet, at the beat of pot covers they are ready to drop it like it’s hot. They are happy to show their breasts for “Girls Gone Wild” or ready to do “Playboy” or “King Magazine” spreads. Rhianna is no different…

Ladies you have to admit that you are at minimum confusing the sh!t out of us men or at max, playing a crude joke. We see whores and b!tches every time we turn on the TV or step out on the street, but we are told to treat you like ladies. STOP IT!!!!!

Dukesman2000, we get it bro, we get it. You’re a backwards chauvinist who longs for the good ol’ days when women were the legal property of their husbands and didn’t have the right to vote, work or chose to keep their own names (oh the audacity!). Which makes you no better than an Uncle Tom in my mind. Dismissed.

well, im not a fan of violence but some people still love chris brown. Yes he did beat the hell out of rihanna and yes she took him back. if she likes abusive man then let her some people like to learn things the hard way. also he is very sorry it would be one thing for him not to be but he is. and people do learn from mistakes and all yall know that if chris and rihanna were just random people everybody wouldnt have taken this so hard. some time we tend to make famous people gods and goddess and we believe it until they remind us they are HUMAN TOO.

Rihanna only puts the crocodile ”Tears” on when the court dates arrive or some other lagal procedures. They say she is recovering. Whatever. She was spotted in L.A a week after the ”Fight” with a ”Flawless face” and on holiday in Mexico ” Living It Up”.

Hmm…a man should never raise his hannds to a woman, and vise versa – a woman should not raise his hand to a woman. In this situation, looking at the picture that leaked out from TMZ, it did not take one or two punches to give her that much brusies. And this is not the first time he did this. Rihanna is such a beautiful woman, but for her to turn back n go to a man that raised his hands to her face to injury – she has no respect for herself, thus making her not a beautiful person. But now I’m starting to understand a life of a woman in a domestic violence relationship, it seems its hard to let go – because of love. But is that the tru definition of love? I wish both of them good luck on what ever next steps they are taking. May God continue to bless them both.

Its so sad to see that everyone is hating on both rihanna and chris
yeah what he did isnt acceptable and blah blah blah/
nobody would care if they were not celebs, and with them being
celebs we think that they are perfect and when they mess up
we are so quick to judge!

YEAH WE ALL JUDGE SO DONT ACT LIKE YOUR PERFECT CAUSE I SURE AS HELL AINT AND NEITHER ARE YOU.

picture the last time you hit someone it being in a fight or something, if you were famous people would judge you but what was your reason and whatever.
fighting is no different, even if your man vs woman or woman vs woman etc..
hitting someone is wrong and yeah if you had ever gotten to a fight or done something you would wannt a second chance so i dont see why we are acting like chris is a bad this and that or why rihanna is this and that blah blah blah

NO ONE WAS THERE that night exceopt those two. yeah lots of details have been released but look at how many freakin times this story had changed and everyone’s oppinion has changed. if chris made a statement about his bruises and what not we would just judge them even more.

if god and rihanna can forgive, we can forgive.

Am I the only one noticing holes in this story. I’m a little confuse. How in the world can someone push another person against a passenger window if the passenger door was already open? Notice in the police report Chris had opened the car door, forcing Rihanna out. But couldn’t due to the restraint of seat belt. Then he became angry and slammed her head against the car window. Interesting.

Another caveat, was the car door ajar while he pummeled Rihanna or did someone pull it in before the pummeling commenced? The likely person, hence nearer person, who could have closed car door shut would had been Rihanna. Obviously, she refused to walk away or eject herself from the seat. I’m assuming that her seat belt release button was on his side. Either he could have pushed the button to release her from seat or he tried and she refused.

And why, oh why, would she call her assistants after he’d brutalized her. Shouldn’t you call the police? Which tells me this isn’t the first time.

Again, this is only HER side of the story. Up to Chris to accept the charges or not. Obviously, he did. Either to salvage her career or he cares for her or both. Don’t know, but it would be nice to hear the truth. Oh well.

Bottom line is RI RI got beat and that was wrong she needs someone to support her and help her relize her self stupid like he did when he punched her…
