President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama walk to Marine One prior to departure from the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC, over the weekend. They spent the weekend at Camp David, the presidential retreat in nearby Maryland.

groundbreaking of the White House Kitchen Garden
First Lady Michelle Obama takes part in the groundbreaking of the White House Kitchen Garden on the South Lawn of the White House on Friday, March 20 in Washington, DC. Mrs. Obama was joined by students from Bancroft Elementary, who will be participating in the project from groundbreaking. Harvesting is expected later this year.

You do not ask the President of the United States such a blatantly, condescending, stupid, f*cking question. Nobody asked Georgie Porgy if he was drunk for sending thousands of soldiers to die in Iraq and Afghanistan and ultimately killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans? I don’t think the past First Lady’s were less busy, LAura Bush has participated in many many many foundraisers and foundations and historical moments, it’s just that she and the others arent photographed and reported like Michelle O. Just because we never saw something doesnt mean it didnt happen, alot of things go on behind the scenes.

My indulgence of the Obamas is fading. It’s great that they are in the WH, but life goes on. My only question is : The vegetable garden isn’t in front of the WH, where it can be seen, if so than that is so country. i’m sorry but that would be so stereotypical of black folks, not to know that vegetable gardens go in the backyard. Lol, I know that the garden is in the back, for it would mess up the landscape of the WH, front lawn. Because, Mrs. Obama would no longer have to talk about growing up and black kids teasing her for talking white, but cultured adults, asking why in the world would you plant a vegetable garden on the front lawn. And classy and sophisticated it would not be.
