Beyonce is set to release her second group of singles from her current album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, which she kicked off her world tour for last week. The second set of singles consist of Sasha’s “Ego,” (which was originally slated to be the second single, before “Diva”) and Beyonce’s Babyface-assisted “Broken-Hearted Girl.” Before the album’s released, it was reported that Kanye West went all the way down to Brazil to bless the track with his verse.
Check out the new remix of “Ego,” and be sure to be on the look out for the videos for each respective single. It’s been said they were shot weeks ago.

I think the song overall is bland but I like Kanye nonetheless. Ever since the first I heard the original I thought it was dragging but that’s just the way it is.

Beyonce is dat Chick but this song is a hot mess. but i can also listen to the original. the original i can listen to when im in da care on da way to work or in da shower but kanye made it so long and kinda boring and it made it unbearable to listen

Umm Im not really feeling Kanyes Part it would better if his verse was in the middle of the song. It just sounds outta place to me. I love this track and was really looking fwrd to Kanye’s verse. I like ego without Kanye, but for some reason I dont feel any of her songs will be #1 like Single Ladies. Halo didnt do well and its my fav. song on the entire album. Kanye’s verse was not clean, like it sounded MIxtapey, like someone else said. Maybe Jay would’ve been a better replacement! Blerghhhh. Hope the people are listening to this. Kanye shoulda spit a hard verse on it, maybe it woulda sounded better.

Cosign #52, I dont see any more songs on Sasha Fierce that should be singles. This song will only get airplay for the first week it’s released and that’s it. I guess Bey is just doing releases for her fans at this point, but she can do that b/c she is BEYONCE!
Puhlease I heard the album and I was shocked at how bad it was. The vocals on this song are average at best, halo was a good studio vocal but not ego. The lyrics to the song are also abismal but I guess it fits in with her ‘Sasha’ construction.
B is really lacking something and it shows in her music, the only time she brings the heat is in the live performances but even those are starting to fade. She’s very lucky to have the stanbase she has because if not for them and the hype machine M. Knowles created, she’d be drowning.
And for once Kanye actually doesn’t add much to a verse, very rare of him because his verses on features are normally great
