Beyonce is set to release her second group of singles from her current album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, which she kicked off her world tour for last week. The second set of singles consist of Sasha’s “Ego,” (which was originally slated to be the second single, before “Diva”) and Beyonce’s Babyface-assisted “Broken-Hearted Girl.” Before the album’s released, it was reported that Kanye West went all the way down to Brazil to bless the track with his verse.
Check out the new remix of “Ego,” and be sure to be on the look out for the videos for each respective single. It’s been said they were shot weeks ago.
And by the way, I don’t even like Beyonces new album, I think she can do better as well, but if we’re beign real about it, I just resent the fact that she has twice the talent but has to work twice as hard to sell her bullshit to the same teeny bopper crowd, it just doesn’t seem fair.
I am glad Beyonce has to bust her ass twice as hard. She had it too Effing easy, She came from wealth. Most artist struggle for years with no help from anyone and Beyonce had her dad and mom who are rich.
She is talented, an icon,I think not. She is a self centred B whom cares nothing about anyone else but herself. She does nothing. Her dad brokers all her deals so good for her. Make her sweat hard to make sales and sell tickets. She has too much of a fantasy life and deserves to work hard without Daddys help.

You know what, people get mad when you don’t act like their favorite artists are a god. I’m kind of sick of people loosely using the term Icon to describe Beyonce. Beyonce has earned her fame, that’s undeniable. The problem with this newer generation is anyone who seems to do okay — they automatically get a title. It’s like when young basketball players first come out, they are automatically compared to Michael Jordan, and my thought is, don’t these people have to PROVE themselves. It takes years to be a Michael Jordan, or anything comparable to a Jordan like figure. An icon is a person that retires, and their music career is so memorable that generations after people are still talking. That’s an icon. Tina Turner was talked about LONG after her mainstream career. Michael Jackson was talked about LONG after his mainstream career had ended. Prince is still talked about and celebrated LONG after his career. You are not an icon when you are still working hard like Beyonce is. Yeah people talk about her she’s working hard still. Call her an icon when your grandchildren are talking about her career. That’s an icon.

I like ‘Ye but his rapping is so random on this track. It didn’t even sound put together. Oh & I played this song out a LONG time ago so I’m not too excited about seeing a video. I did expect Beyonce to come a little harder with this album but oh well whatever puts more money in her pocket I guess.

The reality is you cannot compare Beyonce to other icons like Whitney, Tina, Aretha, or even Mariah because they all were at the height of their careers at different times, so of course album sales and accomplishments are going to vary. Let’s be real though, RIGHT NOW, at this point, Beyonce is the closest thing we have to an up and coming icon. Her albums have all been pretty good to me but I do not think she’s made her classic album yet.
People on this site are dumb . She has sold 2 million in the US and 4 million worldwide in only 4 months outselling Brittney Spears and kanye west .. Get over it. Beyonce is still on top leading the game

Lil Wayne’s album came out last summer with a million in first week and has sold 3 million copies but she’s a failure for selling 4 million in 4 months? Beyonce’s album came out first, of course shes going to be ahead of Britney. Don’t act like Britney isn’t selling either. She’s close to 4 million and she hasn’t even promoted the disc since December. They both are doing good.
