Holly and Rodney have been dedicated spokespersons for Autism since their son, Rodney Jr. was diagnosed with the brain developmental disorder at age 3.

Go Holly :)

Lord knows raising children isn’t easy but raising a child with a disabilty/learning disorder etc is that to the power of 100. Much respect to you all and I hope they receive enough help from their commuinities.

Autism is really increasing nowadays. It’s so weird though to me that sooo many celebrities kids are being born with this disorder. This tells me that there maybe something in the lifestyle that lends toward this. If i were a scientist, i would chart these people’s behavior. It might show some links…But Jenny McCarthy’s book says alot of it may be due to our lifestyles, using products with copper in it to the excess, and she named alot of other behaviors that we might be doing to put our chileren more at risk.

Jenny McCarthy, Toni Braxton, Tichina Arnold, Tisha Campbell, Holly Robinson, and so many other celebrities children have this disorder..What’s the odds of this? Some celebrity children have it, and their parents make sure they keep them out of the limelight and away from cameras. For instance, you never ever see Tisha Campbell’s son…

Of course i’m not saying that it’s just celebrity kids who getting it, certainly alot of ordinary citizens get it….but what’s the odds that so many celebrity kids would get it! I definitely think there’s a link to something they are using in excess like makeup, hair products, etc…Alot of these things has mercury in it, and these people use these products all day every day, much less than the ordinary woman with a 9 to 5.

I don’t know i’m just hypothesizing as usual, but i think scientist should take a close look at the potential risk factors.

And yeah, and because of this high prevalence of autism, i would never have my children vaccinated….They claim that there’s a high link of these vaccination shots to autism…Scary!

iknowdasrite and JScene–I am a therapist who works with children with Autism and yes there are a lot more kids diagnosed now but it is also being OVERDIAGNOSED!! I have been in plenty of meetings where because a child is “different” psychologists have been really quick to slap an autism label on them. Also don’t be so quick to not vaccinate your child–that is not a good decison especially if they are in a public school where germs are everywhere! There are other illnesses that LOOK like autism… I have seen children who displayed autistic tendencies and just with a change in DIET become “normal” .People need to watch what they feed their children. A LOT of food on the market is JUNK!!
