I have to say I was there at the venue that night and Ciara was incredible. Usually I don’t have a good word to say about her but credit where it’s due she was amazing on the night and for the record did sing live for a lot of it… her songs are pretty easy vocally so it wasn’t difficult to handle, it was just in the high note parts that the playback kicked in but considering I had not expected her microphone to be switched on at all, this was impressive in itself. People, myself included can downplay her ability to dance in the light of her paltry singing but her talent in this area is undeniable and I have to say that I came away with a new-found respect for her. Because prior to seeing her that night I’d written her off an an Aaliyah clone but after seeing her finally understood what she actually brings to the table herself. If ever there was a natural successor to Janet Jackson it’s Ciara
