VH1 Soul will roll out its latest installment of SoulStage presented by Infiniti with Grammy-Award winning, R&B songstress Chrisette Michele. Chrisette will take the stage providing viewers the chance to hear her pure, classic jazz inspired vocals.
Taped in front of a live studio audience this week, “SoulStage: Chrisette Michele presented by Infiniti” will premiere on VH1 Soul on Tuesday, April 28 at 10 PM. Chrisette will be debuting her first single, “Epiphany” off her highly anticipated sophomore album Epiphany (in stores May 5th, 2009) on VH1 SoulStage. This 30-minute musical experience will also feature Chrisette performing songs from her 2007 debut album “ I Am” including “Golden” “Be OK,” and “If I Had My Way”

Chrisette is a great singer/performer but she has a STANK attitude and I believe that is why she isn’t as big as she should be.
I did press for an event last year where she performed and let me just say I could have beat her ass for the way she tried to come at me, but I had to stay professional. Her ‘holier than thou’ attitude really rubbed me & the rest of the press the wrong way.

Damn#10–sorry to hear that. She comes across so cute and genuine in interviews. Hopefully she was having a bad day..But then again people would be sooo surprised at how some of these celebrities are behind closed doors.I have family in the industry(music/movies/tv) and they are some of the fakest people you could ever meet!

i must agree with #10. actually i attended this event and something about her demeanor really threw me off. im not sure if she was insecure on stage or what but it wasnt the best vibe.

@ 10….My cousin said the same thing about Chrisette, but she said she could tell that Miss Michele wasn’t feeling well, so she charged it to the game and keep it moving….Not that thats an excuse, but that what I was told.
Now Im not a big fan of her voice, but I dig her style and most of her songs. “Notebook” is a cool joint.
ive met her in person several times and she has been warm, humble and genuine.. and mind u this was stopping her in the street in Chelsea.. after she left a show and her security was rushing her to get into her car.. but yet she stopped signed autographs and took pictures..soo maybe @10 and @18 she wasnt feeling her best.. I mean if some of us were celebrities im sure we would have off days..

i have a couple of contacts over at vh1 so i almost always attend such events. maybe she wasnt not feeling her best but neither was i when she murdered karyn white’s “superwoman.”
I think she is the most underrated singer.. I love her and her voice is amazing. I cant wait until her new cd comes out in May
