Estelle is looking good. Get it girl. While you people are calling her ugly the girl is still making GREAT music and working with super producers. You calling her ugly is not making her album sell any less anyway. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and i think Estelle looks stunning, just how she looks. She does not need to get any cosmetic surgery to change her looks. The reason why people are quick to judge someone elses looks is because they are not comfortable with there own. She looks different and sounds different to all these photocopied artists out there and the woman is still getting endorsements, while people like us are sitting on our backsides commenting on her looks. I rest my case !

One minute people moan when talentless pretty hacks like Cassie are getting sales/record deals solely because of their looks but when someone with actual talent and determination comes along and makes good music but doesn’t fit into the stereotypical mode of “beautiful” people call her ugly! Its ridiculous. Estelle has come a long way, she’s broken barriers especially for black female British artsts so she’s done extremely well. Its no suprise that the industry is saturated with talentless girls who can’t sing when all people seem to care about is image and not talent.

Honestly, Estelle was getting on my nerves! I couldn’t care much about her except for “American Boy” and “Shine” (the song, not album). But after hearing a bit more about her and especially reading her on Twitter she comes off really cool with a genuine character. I might even get her album!

I love Estelle…Her CD is one of the absolute best…love listening while caught in rush hour traffic…the perfect upbeat music…she’s so talented…John Legend did an excellent job producing this true talent…a real artist…we are conditioned to one standard of beauty and that’s the euro-centric beauty…I think Estelle is beautiful, dark rich skin, full chisled features, the stuff that makes Angelina Jolie a prime commodity…we only see it as beautiful if it’ fits into the usual images. She’s quite sultry and definitely a star…since most of us don’t look like white people, we should learn to look beyond looks since we don’t see our own beauty.
