It’s ya girl Ciara!! She was spotted leaving the celebrity hot spot: Da Silvano. The tour for her upcoming album, Fantasy Ride, is expected to have dates in North America and Europe. She’s a little boring to me as an artist. She almost had me her first release but as of late in her career it seems as if she’s just mimicking what other people (I shall name no names…) are doing and she really hasn’t been successful in carving out a niche of her own. From the weave to the “racy/edgy” dance moves, vidoes and lyrics…still she just doesn’t catch my eye (or ear) as an artist. One thing Rihanna’s team was smart to do is to reinvent the girl–from style, to look, to sound, to genre in order to get her out of the shadow of Beyonce (blonde wig/ weaves, trying to rock the black exotic angle…). I think Ciara’s team should take a hint and find out who she really is as an artist, if she knows. What’s she’s done this far hasn’t really established her all that well.
