Singer Lyfe Jennings has exclusively sent Concrete Loop his new single that people have been buzzing about since he premiered it on Atlanta’s self-proclaimed People’s Station, V103.
The new single, “Haters” is produced by Trackboyz, who he works with on his label, Jesus Swings. Since parting ways with Sony Entertainment earlier this year, Lyfe has since signed with Warner Bros. Records. He is currently working on an untitled fourth studio album which will be tentatively released this Summer.

His first album was a classic, imo. It’s been slowly downhill since then. I still enjoy his music, but it doesn’t touch his first album.
With all that being said, I like this song. I’m looking forward to his upcoming project.

Like the song, but just do one thing for me Lyfe, PLEASE do not talk through the whole album. 1st album was good, enjoyed mostly all of those songs, 2nd album was alright, I’m still listening to Will I Ever, wondering will i ever (LOL).
Also, stay out of trouble because God has given you another chance, take advantage of it. A lot of people aren’t given chance after chance.

I love this song although I’m tired of hearing about haters, stans, swag, stinky leg, ricky bobby, etc. I also agree with #6.
I hope he doesnt talk and try to explain every damn song like he did with his other albums. I like his music but hitting the >>> button after every song is irritating. What ever happened to him and his kids mother- did they work that out?
I’m glad that he finally left Matthew Knowles! He wasn’t doing anything for his career anyway. Now, he’ll be able to get back in the game and bring us some good music. Keep it coming Lyfe! :0)

But IMO, its been downhill from there, with the exception of a few really nice records on the past two albums.
But the whole “Haterz” to a slow jam trak thing…just doesnt feel natural to me….the melodies and progressions feel like a lovers record….its like thinkin about ice cream while eating fish…doesnt seem right!

Love Lyfe…anything he sings sounds good to me…this song requires me to listen a few more times before making a judgment…I’m sure he’s telling a good story…no catchy hook singing here…I saw Lyfe perform and it’s one of my all-time favorite concerts…this cat is very spiritual…like david blaine before the new feats, he’s really a good person…with issues like all of us…his aura is absolutely beautiful…I don’t ask for autographs, but I got his for a cousin of mine and she was thrilled…this man has a magic that is innate…he has what I call…CGI…COURAGE, GENEROSITY AND INTEGRITY…”The Cake”…not to say the brotha ain’t still work’in things out…like self-worth and realizing his full value…when a sun comes packaged like this, it’s hard to believe it’s just this natural and the way things are suppose to be.

This sounds like typical overplayed slang songs. WTF who makes a R&B song about haters. People are reaching for hits badly. Stop trying to make anthems and catchy ish and just make good music..
