Newly surfaced photos of Rihanna and her grandparents, Lionel and Clara hit the net this week. The singer made a trip back home to Barbados a couple weeks back to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

sweet photo, its nice of Rihanna to show up. she seems to love her family very much. i remember when she was on one of those morning shows to do a concert and her mom and grandma came to visit. she was joyous and her face was all lit up and anxious to get off the stage to see them.
Forgive me for my language, but WHAT the HELL is that on Rihanna’s head? She looks like someone who fell asleep in their half wig and didn’t fix it before they left the house. If she’s going for that “edgy rocker” look with the hair, it ain’t working. Black folks’ hair does not look the same as white people’s, so when trying to attempt those “casual, tousled, yet sloppy” sort of hairstyles, we mostly end up looking like a hot mess! I wish she would just wear her hair in a sleek, parted style and take that piece of hair off her head.
