I actually just saw her movie and it wasn’t that bad. Her acting has improved and the movie was entertaining. I went to see Mr. Elba, who never duappoints. He was dark and scrumptious. It was as Lifetime as I thought it would be. It was ok.

whats new…I heard the movie is good….

I just came back from seeing Obsessed I thought it was good and the crowed of mostly white people were clappling afterward. The only think I hated were the three little girls behind me acting all immature they knew they should have taken themselves to the The Grand instead of Tinsletown.

She is stunningg!!!! and able to pull off soo many different types of looks.

I saw the movie for myself, and I’m sorry, the only highlight was the fight scene. Everything was either too predictable or over the top. I applaud Beyonce for trying new things, but hey, there are some things you will not master such as acting.

I like Beyonce. She is an entertainer. I haven’t seen her movie yet,but I heard it was good. You have to give her her props. She is doing big things these days! However, I wonder if Beyonce was a little dark with middle length hair would she be where she is today!!! I am just wondering. There are alot of young singers who can really blow (jazymine sullivan,fantasia, kelly) will and would never be as good as Beyonce because they don’t fit Hollywood typical profile. There. I am not hating on Beyonce. She is a true entertainer, but we need to help promote others who are just talent as she is. We are limiting ourselves by focusing on one person on every blog,magazine,music, and movie. We need to see more of us starting in box offices hit. Beyonce seems a little more confident in herself compared to past movies I have seen her feature in, Although this does not make her a good actor people! Im just giving marks for progression ;). I feel Beyonce is a better recording artist/performer then she is an actress. But I give her praise for attempting to step out of the box. Although if I could meet her for real, I would advice her to stick to what she is best at and that is music.

I sensed on-screen and off screen (Photos from the premier and other sources) that Obsession co-star Ali Larter (Blonde chick also on Heroes) is extremely Jealous of Beyonces shine, I dont know if its just me that sensed that? But I could feel it anyways.

All in all it looks a OKAY film, not the best but OKAY, if your into singers switching up their game and trying it at acting then this ->film is for you. Fans of Beyonce will definitely like the fight scene especially all the dudes out there

And before I sign off, I have to comment on Beyonce and her show stopping right?

People try to be relevant for others when they have nothing else better to do with their lives. Now, I’m going to say it, and call me a hater. Number 1 at the box office simply means that the promotion sold the movie, not that the movie was good. I went to see the movie for myself, and I’m sorry, there was nothing complex about the movie, the storyline, nor the characters. I know Beyonce stans will declare that somehow this is a victory for Knowles, but quite the opposite. In my mind, the fact that she is continually given substandard roles speaks volumes about the amount of respect that the Hollywood community has for her as an actress. Angela Bassett tried to have that conversation years ago about the quality of the roles offered to black actresses, and people dismissed it as jealousy against Halle Berry. (When you talk smack about the only two black women with talent, Beyonce or Halle, you are a hater). After seeing the (excuse me), piss poor role and writing of this movie, we now need to have that conversation. The only highlight of this movie was the fight scene, and frankly that began to wear off. Elba is entirely too good of an actor to have gotten himself caught up with a poor quality script. If Beyonce accepts another role, I beg her, have someone with experience in acting to evaluate the script and help you to discern what is a quality role and what is some bull put together by white folk who just want to say that they have a black body on screen. White folk have sense enough to know that Beyonce’s name sells tickets, heck I went there to support the sister, I’m not going to lie. I can’t sit here and pretend like this abortion on the screen was a quality movie. Again, the establishment makes money, and black folk still have a limited amount of actresses due to the fact that non-actresses such as Beyonce refuses to have dignity and say “No, lets try some new talent.” If she wants to make money, heck, produce a movie or a script featuring newer black talent.

@ CHICHI (& all other Beyonce stans) you really need to expand your vocabulary child! Hater? Can you get a THESAURUS or something & find another word to call people like me. No I don’t “hate” Beyonce at all. I just don’t idolize her or worship her like you do. The only one worthy of worship is GOD & Beyonce is nowhere near that! So I can point out the things that her stans are in denial about. So yes I will come on a Beyonce post just to have a conversation with someone like you ChiChi. Maybe a little bit of intelligence can rub off on you & you can start to have a mind of your own since the Knowles family has obviously taken over your tiny little brain. Then maybe you can see your idol for what she really is: a materialistic, money worshipping, inarticulate, mediocre singer/wanna be actress who has gotten famous by being half naked & shaking her ass to songs that have no real substance & all the while doing absolutely nothing of real value for the community that supports her (even when the product she puts out is sub par..i.e. this movie & her last cd).

1) Her money? LOL sorry but no. I want for NOTHING since I own several businesses of my own.
2) Her clothes/shoes/jewelry? Wrong again. I can afford those things but choose to spend my money on the properties that I own, investing, and giving to charitable causes that will help to make a difference for others.
3) Her looks? Hate to bust your bubble Kelvin but I have always believed in eating right, working out regularly, and engaging in an overall healthy lifestyle. Therefore I’m in shape, naturally beautiful without any make up, and have my own real hair so I don’t need to wear weaves or wigs to enhance my looks.
4) Her talent? Doubtful. As I’ve stated I think she’s mediocre. So “the best singer in her age group” is certainly up for debate.
5) Her man? LOL I won’t even go there.
So again I ask you Kelvin what is it that I need to “hate” on? And contrary to what you believe, Beyonce is not “loved by all” LOL.

Actually LOVE LIFE This is a blog site with an open comment section. Therefore the comments will vary depending on the topic of discussion. If you wish to see only positive comments about your idol then perhaps you should go to one of her many fan sites & interact with other stans such as yourself. If you choose not to do so, then you should be woman (or man) enough to handle the comments posted here without feeling the need to attack me for having an opinion that differs from yours. People will disagree. That’s the way the real world works. If you can’t handle it, that really is of no consequence to me.
Secondly, I happen to enjoy concreteloop & admire the young ladies & gentlemen that run this site for their work ethic & the quality of the content they post. It is entertainment for me during my down time. So I will continue to visit this site & encourage others to do so as well. It matters not whether YOU feel I should be here.
