One thing I have noticed about ciara is with this album she has really been trying to step up her fashion game.

I don’t feel like she’s trying to change or be fake, but she wants to try different things musically, but it’s hard when people want to put her in this box and constantly compare her to people who are the EPITOME of unoriginal! Why do black people just love to always wish negativity on others??? All I see is “this bitch is flop” I mean does it make you feel better if her album flops??? The thing that was holding her back was her terrible manager, but it’s fixed now and boy does her new manager have her doing a lot. She has done great with having a terrible manager she is one of the top selling r&b artist.I agree ppl labeling her hasn’t help and these crazy stupid comparisons. I mean cici is the most orignal in the business that’s one of the things that drove me to her, but for some reason some ppl feel as though one person has a right to be on top.  That industry is big enough for more than one. But cici will be ok cause she is turning into a megastar as we speak!

When Ciara steps out and does a different song with pop appeal, people moan and grown. When Ciara does an urban song, people moan and groan and say “this sound is old, she needs to get away from it”. When Ciara get’s away from it people say “she’s trying to be someone else, she doesn’t know who she wants to be”. Ciara is not going to win with some people and that’s life. Ciara keep doing your thing and as long as you make you happy then that’s what matters.

oh and Ciara’s album will be that hottness.. I don’t think she has the hype behind her like she did with “Promise” but the work will be just as quality as “Evolution”

No one over 30 really listen to Ciara. Second, she has no sex appeal, no matter how hard she tries in her photo shoots to be sexy, she’s can’t pull it off. Even in the picture above, no sex appeal. Last month, they had a poll on thisis50.com asking who the sexist female in the entertainment industry. There were nine contestants, Angelina Joi, Beyonce, Ciara, Halle Berry, Keyshia Cole, Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Megan Fox and Rihanna. There was a total of over 7900 votes. Ciara tied with Keyshia with only 7%, while Beyonce had 20% and of course, Kim Kardashian with 25%. She some how pulled it off when she was sporting the tomboy look but is not that appealing trying to look grown and sexy. It’s not working.

She reminds me of a good fitness instructor - her body is tight, she looks great and her songs are fun, but she lacks a certain sexuality/sensuality about her. Even her sexy video with Justin Timberlake - not sexy to me - but it did make me want to go to the gym! Not to say she is not sexy woman, but she does not ooze sexiness - she oozes fitness and fun which unfortunately is a bit limiting for her in this business and her wanting to move on to a new phase.

It’s not about a manager. This girl is insecure and lost. You can see it from her hair, from her style, from her music. She just doesnt know what to do or where to go. She is experiencing things but really need to put her own imprint in her own things. We only know her as a great dancers. Butshe didnt even have her own dance like you’re dancin and ppl say oh thas the ciara dance, she was known for being the crunk queen but her songs are forgettable, excepting goodies, no classic, I might add ‘like a boy’ but the impact on ppl is not huge. She has been in this game for 5years and it still looks like she is still at the same point, opening act and all, she cant have another number one, personally I dont REALLY see the evolution. She needs to know herself and grow and try to find whats wrong. If she needs a new look and base her career on her image like Riri, just do it. She got 3 singles and the first two flopped, the last one was with Justin which is actually one big featuring, with a very sexy video but is falling quicker than Ashanti’s career, and only made the top 10. Her album drops in two weeks and no promo at all, and her first single was back in september. I mean, there is a lot to do. Wish her the best. Love her!

Ciara currently has a the number 5 song in the UK with Love Sex Magic and she did a song with Enrique Iglesias which is number 3 in Europe right now that u probably have never heard of. She just did a show on Canal + in France which is one of the biggest TV shows in France.

I just think it’s beyond sad. No other race tears down their superstars the way we do..None, and if they do tear them down they will be waiting 5 minutes later for their “comeback” and embrace it with open arms and a big smile. People we are now entering a new age and the music that once applied to us all in the late 90s, early-mid 2000s aint working no more.
The sound is changing alot and many of these so called artists like Ciara, Beyonce, Ashanti even Rihanna (watch her album flop when it comes out) Cant adapt with this change.. its evident with their sound that they are stuck in the past. The same thing goes with hiphop. In a year or two you will see the effects of my words.

Rnb and hip-hop needs a makeover, a new direction, a new sound, new artists etc and I believe black people on a whole need to change their whole outlook. Because staying the same and not allowing ‘CHANGE’ is never good for no-one.
I think it would be interesting if we started to work with other artists overseas and see what theyv got, Maybe merge the black artists from all over the world and truely unite black people. We us Americans sometimes have too much division and it kills us. Sometimes you have to think outta the box, to start a trend and make others look up to you. Black music needs that badly, because it is in a very critical condition at the moment……
