How can they say they are not being canceled, yet for the next 4 min. ambiguously contradict that statement? So are they at ‘risk’ of being cancelled? What’s going to happen if 1,000,000 posts wasn’t met? Anyway i’mma stop the hate, becuz I actually like the show, and it would suck if it did get canceled…
I tried to get into it…but it was made to replace girlfriends,which is why I think it tanked.Same concept,not as hilarious. That show was untouchable and as much as I love seeing successful black sitcoms that DON’T degrade black people *eyeballs tyler perry*,I don’t think the game was that good of a show to begin with,in addition to not being able to fill the shoes of its predecessor.
I agree, I only watched a couple of episodes, it’s not that good. However Everybody Hates Chris is extremely funny and a much better show. I heard that was being canceled too.

I love the show. It was shaky at the beginning but they deal with REAL issues for young black adults….for that I love it. It gets BETTER AND BETTER every season.

This is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. I think it was the times it came on. Who will remember to watch the show on a FRIDAY night. They were expecting to not do good. They need to come back on Mondays or Wednesdays BUT PLEASE DON”T GO OFF!!!

I’m on it cuz its funny and I swear if another episode of ANTM goes on as corny as it is I swear!! And its ridic that they put it on a Friday who watches tv on a Friday. And I could watch an hour log cuz they but so many damn commercials on the show is really only on for 12 minutes!!!

Ill admit I watch Gossip Girl but they could easily save this show by replacing the hot garbage they have on Tuesday- Thursday! And Tyra Banks could give up her slot too.
Aw man, the Game and EBHC are my shows, especially EBHC because its comically cohesive with the plot and I look forward to inserts by Chris as well as the end to find out why EBHC. As far as the Game, my friends watch it to, the drama is in place, the comedy part, not so much, but they need to move the plot along its a bit stuck. But, its like the Game ladies I know love since we dont do football, but maybe they ought to throw in an actual game and hook the guys. Idk, im reaching to save the show, put Brandy on the show, whatever happens, I WISH THE GAME LUCK and they owe us an ending. Ps. most peop. go to the club on Friday.

Whats the point in saying the show isn’t getting cancelled when the whole point of this video is to stop it from getting cancelled? Sounds contradictory
I honestly haven’t been a fan of the show, found it to be stereotypical but its sad that networks are soo quick to cancel black shows. I think the Game didn’t do as well as it could have because they pitched it as the spinoff of girlfriends but it can’t compare.
Things like this remind me of how much blacks need to maintain ownership of our own stuff, there need to be more black directors and networks keeping the black entertainment industry going. We can’t rely on white Hollywood- we have to do own ish

I’m confused. The Game is not canceled yet we need to show support so that the can keep the game on for another 3 or 4 years. I like the show personally, it’s just that Friday kill spot. I forget that it even comes on. I don’t know about this video though. They should have looked over what they were saying before they recorded the video.
So, the show hasn’t been cancelled yet, but if they don’t get 1 million people to post on that site it will get cancelled? Um… okay; it’s rough in these streets, I see.
Still, even if a million people do post on that site, that doesn’t mean that the show won’t get cancelled at some point. Truthfully, what it needs above anything is viewers; so, after people “hit” the site, they better make sure that they hit the POWER button on their TVS, or else those actors will be standing in the unemployment line with the rest of America.
Come on yall, everybody may not watch this show but there aren’t that many African-Americans shows airing on TV. You got House of Payne, The Game, and a few others. ALL you gotta do is register and write a few encouraging words. We need to support each other and quit complaining. Although it comes on when most people are out the door, I usually catch up on it online. People coming on here with negative talk..please keep it moving.

THE GAME AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED IS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON THE AIR. IT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN. IT GOES IN DEPTH WITH EACH CHARACTER. THE STORYLINE IS BEYOND UP TO PAR. IT EVEN HAS MORE SET CHANGES/DIFFERENT SETTINGS THAN ANY SHOW I’VE EVER SEEN!! THEY ARE SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT IN ALMOST EVERY SCENE & EPISODE.
TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THEY ALL CAN ACT!!. MARA BROCK AKIL KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING WHEN SHE PUT THIS SHOW TOGETHER BASED OFF HER EXPERIENCE WITH GIRLFRIENDS (WHICH ALSO WAS A VERY WELL-WRITTEN SHOW).
I THINK THOSE THAT THINK IT SUCKS GOT IT TWISTED. THEY PROBABLY JUST SAW THE FIRST 3-5 EPISODES (WHICH I ADMIT, STARTED OFF KINDA SLOW, BUT ONLY TO WORK UP ALL OF THE WILD EVENTS TO LATER HAPPEN) & WAS LIKE “MMM… I’M GOOD.”

With that being said, The Game is a wonderful show that keeps you guessing. I def co sign with 13 they have real life issuses that they address on the show. Even though they’re playing football players and their counter parts it’s still relatable…

i agree with #32. i don’t watch shows and think “yay black people. i have to support it”. i think “this show is GOOD. i have to support it”. personally the game is cliche to me. i’ve seen some episodes and they didn’t catch my attention. i miss “girlfriends”. that was a good show to me and i supported it as such. house of payne should be cancelled too btw. sorry but there are many shows on right now that are better than the game. it couldn’t compete
I would really love for THE GAME to become an hour long. The Game is my favorite show on television because I have become totally attached to the story lines. The Game has always had amazing story lines that keep me tuned in and I think it would work well on The CW as a hour long series on the lines of 90210 or Gossip Girl.
I also think it would be an awesome fit with 90210 because many people that watch 90210 would love THE GAME. both shows have amazing diverse casts and I think the CW could really build upon that.
The Game and 90210 are my favorite shows on The CW and I would love to see them air on the same night. Hopefully you really consider expanding The Game and giving this show the chance it deserves. Ratings may not be high this season but that’s because a lot of people don’t even know it comes on on fridays. More promotion and a better timeslot and an hour runtime would truly help this show thrive and become one of The CW’s most successful series.

This cycle is going to continue as long as Blacks don’t OWN anything we have enough successful black people to buy and run our own network. Why is it that we as African Americans can’t seem to support our own? We are so quick to watch premieres of CSI NY, CSI Miami, and several other white shows, but we are hesitant to support our own. Maybe if shows like The Game were making a mockery of our race–Flavor of Love anyone, BET–we would probably support it. That’ s very unfortunate.
I can’t support this because Mara Brock Akil did not even try to save Girlfriends like this. I really think it’s messed up how she let Girlfriends go down the drain like that. Girlfriends is 10 million times better than The Game. I watch The Game, but I will not give my support.

Ummmm come on people. The show is AWFUL. It really is. We’re so obsessed with the fact that it’s a “black” show but it’s poorly written. I do think it’s sad that there aren’t as many black shows on TV anymore but we still have more shows than any other minority group. When was the last time you watched and Asian American sitcom???? Or a latin American sitcom (that didn’t have George Lopez in it!lol)?????? We gotta start crying like we’re so hard done by and actually support shows that are decent. I’m just sayin…

Even if we did have black owned/black ran networks with bar none quality programming most n****z wouldn’t support its that sick a** crab mentality!!!
