Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex and Aubrey O’Day sit on stage at MTV’s ‘Making The Band 4: The Final Chapter’ live finale on Thursday night in New York City. I know everyone saw that tension between Dawn and Aubrey, it was so thick that D. Woods had to sit in between them (photo below).
Anyway, the finale event wasn’t really anything special. Day 26 gave some below-average performances and I honestly forgot all about that Donnie Klang dude. Diddy came on promoting his twitter page and t-shirts. Then, Danity Kane (minus Aundrea Fimbres) took the stage to speak on the status of the group and if there will ever be a comeback. Quick answer? No, but all ladies are working on upcoming solo projects and Aubrey says she will have a reality show..

I really don’t understand how Dawn has become vilified in all this. Didn’t Diddy ask her to sing on his album? Wouldn’t they have done the same thing if they were in her shoes. Also, i’m sure she didn’t miss shows (that fans paid good money to see) because she was doing her own thing- like Aubrey or D.Woods. And i’m not trying to take side because i’m sure they all had a part to play in the demise of the group but i just really don’t understand all the negativity towards Dawn. She’s just a young woman trying to what she loves. They all are. People are saying she’s shady and trying to break up Day 26???? I’m sorry but i think i must’ve have missed that. Because in every show i saw Dawn was giving GOOD advice to her boyfriend and her brothers. How was she trying to break up the group? And how is she responsible for breaking up Danity Kane? Why is she the b*tch? I guess it’s true that you can’t please everybody. I Dawn is beautiful and talented. Half of the people with negative things to say are just depressed with the own lives cos i don’t understand how people can have so much hatred and negativity in their hearts towards a person they don’t even know. It’s sad. It just make me think there are alot of really awful mean spirited people out there. smh…From what i saw D. Woods had an attitude with Dawn and there was tension between Dawn and Aubrey. You know what I think now since watching the show. Lets be real, there is not one person can break up the group. I honestly think Diddy was not giving them paper like he was supposed to. No one saw how they was dancing around the questions. It was Diddy, management, A&R, and thats the only way I could see not being happy. D Woods even said things were not in place…what else could not be in place. I say it was a money issue. Then to me, Diddy might have been putting Dawn in a situation where he thought she was talented and might have offered her to write or sing. What was she supposed to do in that situation. Now I am not done with Dawn, now I feel that what she did with Day 26 was mad messy. Reason being was because Que is not an Alpha male, not very strong and a follower. She told him to start going to go to dance lessons and like a man who doesnt know how to stand on his own two feet just listened and was like ” I have to go to dance class….” cry baby. So she should have stayed out of that situation. Now as far as D Woods, she might have felt pissed cause Diddy might have not seen potential in her like he saw in Dawn. So of course there was going to be some hurt and jealous feelings. Aubrey seems like a follower too and prolly was siding with D Woods because they were supposed to be so cool. So then that is when the cliques started….Poor Andrea ( sp*) seems like the laid back type and saw the drama and just couldnt really deal with it. Her heart was really into it,so when she saw the drama that is when she prolly wrote Diddy and said she wanted out. Same with Shannon……That is my take on it….what yall think……
Point blank Dawn is the one with the most talent and will be relevant in the music and entertainment industry!!! She is beautiful on the inside and out. Plus she is the only one on that stage rocking those same shoes that Beyonce has which means that she is bringing in the checks and hopefully she will move on from Diddy and on to bigger and better things i.e. Clive Davis!
D. Woods loves to have conversation piece on the side of her head. She is a hater and a hood chick that some people may like ( not I ) not someone that I would buy an album from heard her mixtape it was a DISASTER!

NewsFlash-Diddy was not goin to allow the group to last long anyway. That is his pattern. If u think that they were goin to last past 2 albums then ya’ll must’ve just been born in 1997. Nothin except Biggie lasted more than two albums under Diddy. Some may have but u best to believe they only stayed cuz they couldn’t get out their contracts. Luckily the Lox put his ass on blast years ago so now he let ppl go without any punitive damages. But in all honesty, DK knew what time it was before they even started taping the show. Reality tv is not real those girls didn’t like eachother from the begining they were put together. Its sad because as much as Diddy is shouting out Dawn we will never see her come out what the heck happened to Cheri Dennis? That is one label I would never want to be on because no one lasts 112, Carl Thomas, Faith Evans. All Diddy does is promotes himself. Dawn was right if I paid my money to see five members that’s what I want to see. Aubrey needs to sit down with her fake self look at those lips I’m so tired of these talentless people getting their own shoes when there is actually more deserving people out there. Everybody posting made some good points (besides those who were purely hating), but just remember that the whole DK thing was a JOB! And like any job, if you’re the employee, then you have a boss and you work for a company. When was the last time you went to work and tried to put your boss on blast about a business decision that you were in no way (as a lowly, just hired empoyee) were in a position to have input on? How many tirades and confrontations did you have with your boss (in front of your co-workers no less) and still stay employed and even get a promotion (DK’s case, 2nd CD & writing/production credits)? How often did you go to work and spend at least half the day doing work on your own personal side hustle or business and not have the job that you are actually getting paid (and famous) for suffer? Why when you formed cliques and friendships with the”disgruntled”/”problem” employees you were dismayed that the other more productive and positive employees distanced themselves from you? When you constantly fought with your co-workers (over BS most had NO control over) how long do you think the working group’s and company’s moral would stay high and positive? When you decided to do a “so show’ at your job (repeatedly) how long did you think they were going to keep you on? And when you FINALLY got fired, how good of a look is it to speak ill of your former employer while interviewing (DK’s case – promoting solo stuff) for another gig? It’s really just How To Get Hired…And Fired 101!!!
Dawn however constantly and consistently showed the professionalism that true business minded people desire and want to surround themselves with. Dawn was like that excellent employee who always showed up for work (on time), kept her head down and her eyes focused on the goal/project, worked well as a team player and yet showed initiative and leadership, came up with great ideas that contributed to the boss looking good and the bottom line, and when push came to shove and the boss needed the employee to do “extra” to help out with other company projects that could use her expertise she happily and took up the challenge and gave it her all. Now why wouldn’t that employee be favored, get promoted (new contract) and get a raise (more writing and production credits w/bigger chunk of singing checks)?
It’s not that Dawn sucked up to anyone to get where she is, she earned it by constantly being a professional and productive member of a team, and a go-getter!! She WORKS! Dawn has been busy writing and producing for Day26 (Perfectly Blind), Cassie, reality star Heidi Montag (One More Drink) and others. By the way I love Dawn’s updated retro 80′s thing she has going on. Her hair is more Halle Berry (circa ’80′s-’90′s) than Keri Hilson. Love the acid washed torn jeans with killer heels! And I loved that she doesn’t have to show skin or overt sexuality just to be seen (and heard). Her talent keeps her in the spotlight and in the studio.

honestly. aurbrey can sing very well!!!!!1 if you search yahoo for her videos, you will see she can sing very well!!!! i was suprised. she sang at last- search it, it was not bad at all. and yes, maybe she was acting like a slut, but that is more why people paid attention to them. oh, and she was getting ready to go to law school! yep, she completed four years of college and was getting ready to go to law school until making the band came about. last, anyone who want to say that she was wrong. you can never be wrong about being concern about business( when puff kicked her and d.woods out). this is a business first,before music. and puff acting like a complete bitch about it. i think that all of them can make it on thier on! maybe,except 1 or two.( maybe another field of entertainment, but i can be wrong)
