Tuesday, April 14, 2009

U.S. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama walk with their two daughters Sasha Obama and Malia Obama to attend the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House Monday, April 13th in Washington, DC. This is so sweet and heart warming. You can just see the love and warmth between them as a family. I know this event happens every year with other presidents, but it always seems so contrived. The Obamas seem so sincere in everything they do. It was good that for a day that the focus can be off of the problems the country is having and on to something that lightens the heart.

Those girls are so cute especially that Sasha, she has so much character to be so young. They are going to be heartbreakers.

#8. SAID: “Barack is a father that all black fathers should aspire to be like.”

All fathers whether they’re Asian, Latino, multiracial, black, white…. should be at least a little inspired by Barack.
The Obama’s are definitely a beautiful family. Malia is going to be SO tall. I think she’s only 10 years old now.

MSNBC is doing a national poll on Obama’s performance so far. Republicans are flooding the polls with F votes. Help Barack get a better grade. We don’t want history thinking he was anything like Busch http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29493093

@dukesman2000…I believe you are a good father. These people are only human. Sheesh. They are no better than you and I. I have plenty of role models in my family as do many others. He is not the first black man,or the last for that matter,to set a good example. Don’t get me wrong,I think they are great, but they aren’t God’s.

OK we are very proud of the Obama ’s but let’s stop doing this let’s be proud of them in stop acting like this is the first time we have seen a African American man do a great job as a husband, father, bread winner or chief in his own home. Big shout out to all those men who are being great role models and woman to way before we even knew that President Obama and First Lady Michelle even existed. Thank you to all the brothers who have kept it real and strong for us.

Definitely #40 and company. A big shout out to all the Dads, Moms, families and everyone who’s being great role models.

There’s no such thing as too much inspiration from scores of people everywhere. Just ask Eddie Murphy.
