Mariah has a great voice, I remember that fly like a bird performance she did on AI, but for the most part while promoting her last album she MIMED. Yeah I said it. Always the same formula. I mean it was hot the first 100 times, but she’s starting to look like a textbook one-trick pony and for all her resources that is completely indefensible.

Britney’s first leg of her tour was a huge success. She raked in more per show than any other artist in the world most weeks and has had to add a slew of new tour dates in multiple countries as well. Also, Britney (in many cities) plays bigger venues than Beyonce.

Beyonce only sold 8, 000 tickets at her concert in Canada. We don’t wanna get on Britney’s show in Canada last night. Also, Bey is selling 1000s of tix for $20 and people are paying top dollar for Britney tix.

If it wasn’t for Britney, eyonce probably would’ve started touring at the beginning of the spring. Daddy Knowles knew they had to make room for Brit Brit’s tour.

“Circus” has sold over 3 million in the world (and that was as of January 29, 2009). I don’t know how much exactly Bey has sold. I did try to research it before I responded, and I couldn’t find a source that says she’s certified for more than 3 million. And even if the sales are close or if Bey is ahead by a little she has released 4 or 5 singles to Britney’s 3. She has also tirelessly promoted on every show, magazine and award ceremony. Britney on the other hand hasn’t had to do anything but put her music on the radio, her videos on the air and her a cds and tix have sold beautifully. Beyonce has to work twice as hard for Britney’s results.

How is Bey’s tour outselling Brit’s when Brit’s first leg was soldout and her tix are more expensive and all of her venues are either the same or bigger than Bey’s?

I don’t check the world charts, but I know Britney topped the world charts several weeks in a row and if I’m not mistaken Beyonce’s only topped once. Britney got so much in early, maybe that’s why she’s not on there anymore.

Beyonce is a cultural icon and a contemporary R and B legend. But Britney is the eighth-best selling female artist in the world, the best-selling female artist of the new millenium (thanx to her Oops! sales) and one of the top 3 most famous women in the whole world (based on some popular studies).

Beyonce started her solo career in 2003, so I think its unfair to say she has been in the game for 12 years (or as long as Britney and Alicia Keys) then go on to ignore her achievements ( for the entire 12 yrs) whilst in Destiny’s child such as album sales, grammies won and number one singles. IMO beyonce is overexposed but UNDERATED. She has sold 100mil records and has 23#1 singles.
She might not be selling out Tours like Britney, Madonna and the other WHITE POP artists (only Michael Jackson can) , but she is really doing it big as an R&B artists.
