This is good to see. Sad how she hasn’t really gotten any love and been able to be on top like she was before in the past couple of years, since, well, Beyonce came along and shitted on everyone leaving no room for anyone else in the game. Brandy has been consistent since inception and remains unapologetic, I wish her the best.
Love her! I’m still rockin’ her debut album and Full Moon myself. She and Darkchild work so well together. I hope he’s assisting her on her upcoming album.

@ 8 I’m with you. I mean Brandy paved the way for the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, and Britney and was actually good at being a triple threat. Multi platinum and diamond plus albums, endorsements out the ying yang, sold out shows. The model she created is being recycled with the current 3, and just like that she’s fallen to the waist side. They act like she’s not relevant, she didn’t leave a mark. But I see you Brandy and have never turned my back. The girl is talented. @ 17 I agree, it’s def. starting to become played quickly.

I’m a huge Brandy fan, but I get so disappointed in her sometimes. Every project she puts out, there is promo up to the release and then it just falls off. No tour, no new single, no new videos. ‘Human’ is a solid album and could have done much better than it did if it had better promotion. These other singers are out here grinding and its like she is just chillin. No red carpets, no apperances, no nothing. UGH! Do better Brandy.

I was at the Concert and she ROCKED!!! A genuinely lovely lady, her performace was whole souled, refreshing and her audience appeal reflected a seasoned top-level performer. Props to her as she was nice enough to come back on stage at the end of the show (following chants of “Brandy! Brandy! Brandy!) to greet the standing audience and THEN insisted – against the wishes of her bodyguards – on coming upstairs to the VIP area to greet fans!
I was soo close to her in the VIP bar but forgot to bring my Camera along, doh! But she held hands and even asked that a fan who literally begged for his life, to come forward and have pictures taken with her.
What a lovely princess! Can’t wait for your next show!

So she will be making her mark again soon.. New t.v. show that is on national television… she will get to that white audience which is good cause they buy albums girl is going to be back on top besides people love her just wanted something more this time they wanted to shake their asses and she didnt give that with those new singles… but she got it this time record label is pouring money in her record this go round as well she has already worked with the dream, and is working with pharelll, and many other big names…

Damn I wish I had been in London! Human was a really good album, in fact she is one of the only artsts whose album you can buy and listen to pretty much every song without skippng tracks and thats rare nowadays.
I’m soo sick of how the music industry keeps regurgitating the same old crappy songs and how only one or two black female artists are allowed to be sucessful, leaving the more talented artists at the back. People have trully forgotten that Brandy helped pave the way for many artists today; both her music and tv show represent an aspect of my childhood that I won’t forget. She deserves wayy more attention. I also wonder which crappy record label she’s on cause they’re not doing their job.

I would say she was basically obsoleted as we became desensitized to half naked teens stars like Britney and Christina but Miley Cyrus is exactly what Brandy was. Maybe the charm wears off after a few years. Aren’t the Jonas Brothers’ numbers down? Maybe a goody two shoes can only be a child star… Maybe at like 22 or 23 it really was over for Brandy…
