I agree. Pauletta is definitely not the most attractive woman out there–she never has been even in her younger days. But that just goes to show that Denzel’s priorities in finding a wife were not based solely on looks; he has obviously connected with his wife in mind, spirit, and soul, so they seem happy and in love which is the most important thing. Many black women will continue to say “aww, they make such a beautiful couple” because he gives hope to average looking women that they may possibly find a handsome looking black man like Denzel one day. On the flipside, most black guys are thinking “you’re Denzel Washington, man!!! You could’ve done alot better!!!” I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just layin out the facts.

Here is another piece of reality, before Denzel became the Denzel we all know and love, he was not turning heads like that. Ummmmmmm #48, I don’t know any woman or man who gets cheated on several times who’s still genuinely “happy” with their significant other, no matter how much the cheater claims to love them.
