After reading the comments, all I have to say is…I could care less what Denzel does behind closed doors…I’m going based off the amount of love and affection that they are displaying and I have never seen him with any other woman so until I see concrete evidence with photos of him showing this type of acknowledgment and love to another woman then I don’t give a sh*t…this is no ordinary love that we see all the time-so people are appreciating the fact that a Black man is loving his Black woman-so why not love it? but when Kim Kardashian is hugged up with Reggie the comments are “Oh she is so beautiful” “Kim is a goddess” etc. but when a Black man is with a Black woman all the hate and animosity comes out…. “she’s ugly” “Denzel can do better” “Denzel is an as*hole” it’s like Black folk hate to see each other happy.

Thank you STACY. I always found Pauletta beautiful and full of grace, she’s a lady that I have much love for, what I personally wrote has nothing to do with looks! Calling Denzel an a**hole isn’t bashing, if it is the truth. He’s a gifted actor and a good looking man, no denying that. A hard worker, no denying that. That being said I don’t care about clean image when people that we made don’t treat their fans respectfully. I can’t respect them. This is not a black issue. Many non-black celebs with perfect images are in fact a**holes. Bruce Willis used to benefit from a good image, he’s always been an a**hole. If people want to celebrate dysfunctional long term relationships in the name of “black love”, that’s their right. I know one or two so-called “strong couples” like these around me, they always smile in public but the women cry behind closed doors. Most pre-conceived ideas of what you’re supposed to “go through” to have a successful marriage are lies passed around from generations to generations, especially in our community. I love me some black love, and love in general, but it is my choice not to support this, no matter how good it “looks” in pics. If negativity is a “black issue” then you’re stereotyping your own. And there’s a clear difference between being negative and calling it what it is. Was Morgan Freeman’s marriage great because they used to be all smiles for cameras? I think Myrna would agree with me that she was hurting. Negativity in relation to the POSTS is a “Black Issue”. It is not stereotyping my own. It’s simply recognizing how some of us perpetuate negativity toward our own.
