Oh my goodness, she is NOT average. Her body is freaking awesome. I can’t even think of another black celebrity that is on the same level as her when it comes to fitness. She has just the right amount of muscle tone, she really looks great. Now her voice, is nothing to get really excited about, but I can appreciate her as an entertainer.

I like the style, the music, the dance ideas, the voice improvment on the album….
BUT oh my god her live performances are NOT on point yet! She can hardly sing half of the song and when she sings, she’s actually talking, not singing. She’s not enough convincing and precise in her dance steps.

Whats wrong with wearing cornrows? They can be worn well, but I find you have to doll up more when you wear them like slap on the makeup and the earings because they can be manly looking.
However, I don’t like the straight back cornrow style that Ciara is wearing, they could have created a pattern or parting or something that looked more feminine. Hers look like prison braids.
And black people have really back lashed against CICI, thats her problem- whites don’t care for her that much and blacks are starting to hate her. Damn she’s turning into a tanned less talented Mariah lol

The transition from singer/dancer to “singing whore prototype” is hard for her. Ciara’s vibe is different and she wears shades so often now to hide her eyes. Could it be that she doesn’t really want to do this but forces herself to in order to gain fame? Could it be that she cries all night at the realization that all that hoeing was unnecessary cause she flopped big time, turned off most of her fans, and lost to fully clothed and barely seen on TV Chrisette Michelle. I lost respect for this chick. She can keep crawling on the floor, she still won’t sell. Her cd is rumored to be out of the top 10, we’ll see that officially this Tuesday.

Ciara seems to be a sweetheart and will survive low record sales in comparison to past efforts. Just like Kelly Clarkson fell short whent she went against Clive Davis’ creative direction and came back this time around.with #1 hits…what’s important here is that she did try something different…her bank account is still growing, recording artists make the bulk of their money off of turning touring…she has some impressive dates lined up…Jay-z alone keeps her as a forerunner…so for those who care and don’t want Ciara to fail or flop…she won’t…one question to naysayers…”Can God Fail?”’.Ciara’s career is just revving up…check out Ebony’s June issue with Jada on the cover and how black music is in trouble…I love Chrisette Michele and so happy she’s charting well and hope more people catch her wave, XM Radio seems to really suppor t her…But, for me…whether you’re an astounding five octaves or not, as long as you give it your all…don’t walk over people and try to help others with your fame and fortune…I’m with you! I posted this on another msg board but I wish she wouldve have shelved Fantasy Ride after all the leaks. Love Sex & Magic is a cool track but just not lead single material. I think “Never Never” is doing good on Urban, but usually only Beyonce is the only female artist that can move a shit load of records, maybe Alicia Keys too. I dont think she has ended her career but she should definately not take too long of a break and come back harder with the next cd. You never know though – maybe Like a Surgeon and Work will be huge hits with the right videos and treatment. Gay pride events are starting in the US – she should shop the hell out of Work to everyone of them
