She is far from not bein cute in my opinion, she is beautiful & fresh.
I truly admire ppl who can live their lives without thinkin about other’s perceptions or expectations but only doin truely themselves. That is probably the key to real freedom and happiness.
Solange is one UNDERrated artist, you take the best videos and albums of 2008, I’ll put her inside, I love her sister or a Rihanna and a Ciara or AK… but if we gonna talk about creativity and Art in the music, I’m anyday for this chick as well as some other underrated like Gnarls, Janelle, Erykah, Lupe, Andre 3000, Steph Jones, Macy and the list goes on. Radios dont even show them love while music is much wider than what we listen to on radios.
Anyway, just had to say that cuz I saw her in concert and she is amazin, her sis was there as well to support.

She looks cute as always, i will say she does seem a bit uncomfortable. But it could be just that moment the pic was taken. Love the outfit, and if she did can weight it suits her well. I think some celebs (Ciara, i love her, but..) go over board w/ the weight lost it takes away from their face.

Frikin’ LOVE the earrings! The top and/with the belt I love as well, the bag and the rest…why? and don’t hit me with the “different” ish, it’s awful and please believe I adore Solange, bought this album and will by the next, and considered looking for the first one but I just wish I could be her stylist, one of her best looks was not to long ago with her sis,mom and son at a museum or something when she had on that purplish lipstick, she looked amazing, imma need for her to go that route onwards and upwards.
solange is a true fashionista with a true sense of individuality-something riri lacks extremely, if it wasnt for her stylist she would be lost. solange is on point!

Here is my observation: Solange is definately riding her sisiters coatails. I am in belief she is trying to get in where she can fit in. Remeber Loreal commercial her face just HAD to be in the commercial with Beyonce. its sickening.
Secondly, I looked at the pics when Jay went to Barcelona with Beyonce. For what? Damage control for when he was seen partying in Vegas and speaking with an un identified woman. Maybe it was nothing but it is still somehat damaging to their “pure” forever in love relationship. It gets corney. Their relationship seems forced. There is NO way that a recently married couple can be apart as B is doing a 100 cities. That is definately exhausting to a relationship. I truely believe in my heart that their relationship is a business deal. She had to get married because the public wanted to know why she was dating a man for six years. Remember she is a role model. JayZ gets her all the deals as her father pimps her too. So sad in a sense emotionally. She is being used. Thru ALL the smiles that she presents in all her photos there is also many many tears. There is a reason her mother is on tour with her and not her husband. I bet after the tour, they will anounce a separation of some sort. I just do not feel that the relationship is real as she lies to the magazines. No one grown paints their husband name J-A-Yon their nails if not they were together. Too gushy for someone that is married. Something is strange. Perhapas they have a marraige liscencened only. But really not married, just a reception. Am I the only one feeling this?

Beautiful. This is the best I’ve ever seen her look. The purse is still wrong on so many levels. But, its a step in the right direction.
I really like Solange and her style is young, fresh and new..I really wish they would stop saying that she is riding her sister’s coattail..i mean dammit..YES WE KNOW SHE IS BEYONCE’S sister but she is her own person as well..just pick up her album and you can see the differences between them. Her album is seriously one of the best albums I heard for 2008.
Solo is a forced to be reckoned with, I just wish she could get out of her sister’s shadow.
…and BTW, Ms Aka..I believe the music in that L’Oreal commercial was “I Decided” so it was only right for them to put the artist for that song in the commercial.

BTW, I feel you! Last year I went to the Tom Joyner Family reunion. Solange was there like all weekend and plus performed! I was disgusted by the lack of love they showed Solange! My girl was busting her butt at her show and seemed like people were annoyed. I just dont get why people will not let Solange be her ‘god given name’. I think she’s freshier than her sister because she takes risks! A true rebel! You have to respect somone who goes against the grain and are not in a manufactured box!

lol…she got that unhappy look in her eyes of a woman whose gained about 10 pounds and don’t like it. She’s still small, but you can see she’s gained about 10 lbs. Poor thing, she’s really trying hard to be a star, and nobody’s paying attention to her. She’ll never be a real star cause all her mother and father really focuses on is Beyonce. She’s not pretty enough, talented enough, mainstream enough, or special enough to be dotted on like they dote on Beyonce. Beyonce is the whole family’s real meal ticket. Even with all the surgery Solange has had (which i must say she looks alot better, cause that jay leno chin got shaved down and they refined her nose) it still won’t make her a star. She’ll have some success at stardom, but will she ever be a “real” household name star, helz no…lol
