Not hating just being real, dont know who voted on the list but when I saw T-Pain’s name being in the top 20, I stopped, he is not only in the top20, he is also BEFORE the first Lady. Oprah’s legacy is truly an American story to be told seeing how she started from nothing and now has more than she probably even envisioned. She has a lot of influence on a lot of people; however, I no longer support or watch her show. It appears that her show caters to White America and I feel that a lot of things that should be reported on her show are not. I’m not saying put more Black stories on your show because you are Black but hey our stories need to be seen some kind of way and they sure aren’t being told on CNN and Nancy Grace. And I am not hating on Oprah and yes she has way more money than me,and could care less if I watch her show, but I do feel her show is geared more towards attracting a White audience.
I don’t care about no most influential nothing right now. I just downloaded my coupons for free chicken at KFC from Oprah’s site.

oprah probably doesn’t know who m.i.a. is but that’s what makes m.i.a. special. many ppl don’t know her yet she still sets trends. she gets less publicity than rihanna, beyonce, probably even ciara so her accomplishments thus far are amazing. the fact that you can be little known yet be considered one of the most influential people next to some great people says something. not to mention, she is so real, it’s refreshing.

Oprah’s life is very inspiring. She grew up poor, was raped and molested as a child to get a good education and become one of the worlds most influential people. Then there are the Obamas who both grew up poor on the south side of Chicago to graduate from elite colleges to become the leader of the free world and have the highest office in the United States. Tyler Perry the same. Rags to riches stories are always inspiring.
