And to my lovely doctor daughter and to her fellow doctor friends who graduated from Meharry with their DDS…I am still shedding tears of JOY at seeing your life long dream and burning of the midnight oil i long tedious hours of study, come into fruition.
Being at your graduation and seeing a Pletha of Young African-Americans graduating with Doctorate Degrees in Medical, Dental and Ph.Ds gave me new hope and belief in a better world to come.
Have Faith in God, Stay Humble and Lastly, May all Graduates Reach Back and Lift Up Another as you Climb your Ladders of Success.

Much thanks to CL for having this feature, and to everyone who left well wishes. The road wasn’t easy but it was definitely worth it.
For those of you still on the grind, keep it up, hit those books hard. You will get your much deserved reward. Don’t let anyone convince you that you aren’t worthy to receive that degree.

Congrads to everyone, you should be very proud of yourself and what you have worked hard to accomplish. As a college student myself, I know it requires hard work, diligents, sleepless nights, etc to succeed. Seeing you all in the pics, gave me the charge I needed to keep going.
Sidenote, I just came from a scholarship ceremony. I won 3 from my school this semester.
