MUSIC NEWS: NEW BEYONCE PROMO PHOTO + INFO ON THE “I AM..YOURS” VEGAS DATES
Beyonce, who is currently on tour in Europe, recently released a new promo for her upcoming Vegas shows. The “I Am..Yours” event will be a 4 day concert series in Sin City and ticket prices (per person) are: $250, $500, $750, and $1,000. Some prices include hotel stay, spa treatment, etc.
The prices recently caused a stir with some fans, but Beyonce will be touring in the U.S. starting in June, so you can definitely catch her perform for cheaper.

I went to a concert for her BDay Tour and trust that was the last time I go see that woman in concert. She can sang but its too commercialized, scripted and totally not worth that price even if its in Vegas!

This is Beyonce at her finest, at the prime of her career, a world reknown entertainer/actress/singer, in Vegas the biggest entertainment capital of the WORld. She is very much worth that ticket price, I mean it’s VEGAS baby, if you’re in Vegas you’re already a gambler, so…. I mean this is also a different version of her concerts, it’s a smaller venue, more intimate, and being taped for DVD. Could you imagine, those tickets will sale, imagine being able to go back and watch Micheal in the Thriller days, or watching Elvis in his prime,…. this is history before your eyes, even though I wont be there, atleast they’re taping this one for the dvd. …by the way, this new promo pic is her best pose yet, i think it’s better than that Dangerously in Love album cover shotg
Wow!! I’m sorry but from what I’ve been seeing on youtube those prices are outragious and not worth it!! She is a good singer but I couldn’t see paying more than a buck fifty. She is married to Jay-z and he is a hustler so I guess the apple does not fall to far from the tree…lol

I aint mad at Bey. Folks don’t complain when Madonna, Celine Dion and other singers charge close to those amounts for the full tour. These are only for the folks who can afford them and if you can’t do like me and see her when she comes to or near your state. She will tear it down like always and will be well worth the money to those lucky few who can and will buy them because no doubt they will sell fast and completely. Anyway I’m loving the whole Theiry Mugler theme for her tour. I think it’s different and the costumes are out of this world. Folks complained that she was selling lots of tickets for 20 dollars saying she was reduced to doing that now they complaining because the vegas dates are priced to high, this chick can’t win for losing.

Ok- charging all that money has to do with weeding people out. It’s another marketing move thanks to her Dad. High prices means you’re attracting a particular audience, not your average jane or joe across the street. High rollers and shot callers is the audience their aiming for.
Sure, she’ll sell out, strip down, etc. but even if I were a billionaire, I would not waste my money on anyone who is so overexposed. I have never seen an entertainer so overexposed. I aint nobody BUT if you can drop $450-1,000 for Bey’s show, would you drop $50 for delicious dinner and live entertainment your next visit to Chicago? We’ll be doing be playing Jazz, funk, r&B and oldies. We did it last year and filled the place up in less than two weeks. You wont be disappointed. Any takers?
Thats a very pretty picture and those prices are redic. 400-1000 to hear her sing 3 albums worth of runs, exaggerations and booty bass. Only her true fans will pay those prices and she is not a big enough artist to be weeding in high rollers. Yes she is all over the charts but home girl need more talent than what she is giving to get that much money out of me. actually i just checked the site…for most of the specials you get 2 tickets so the price can be split in half for 2 ppl…..250 per person for 2 nights in a hotel and some beyonce tickets is a GREAT DEAL!!!!!!

#32. The $250 tickets are just for the tickets. The hotel packages start at $450 (PER PERSON) and that includes 2 nights in a hotel room and then the prices go up from there.
Ok folks this is the story of why the ticket prices are so high. The venue where the concert will be is very small, approx. 1800 people can get in there. Therefore they have to have the ticket prices higher to meet the tour budget. Beyonce doesn’t control the prices for tickets and she is not getting ALL of that money! There’s a tour budget for crew, sound, tech, dancers, props, etc. And its four days because they have to make up what for what they would get at a larger arena. These tickets were sold out in 2 hours!!! At this show because the theater is so small everyone will see B up close and personal!! Trust ME she will definitely give them their monies worth!

Beyonce looks great. Hey, if Chef, Madonna, Celine, et al can command those prices (and in the case of Cher and Madonna, they can command those prices from the same people multiple times over on the same damn tour!), so can Beyonce.
Bee looks beautiful. She’s amazing live I seen her last year on the TBE tour. I love Bee and all but ticket prices are ridiculous for this tour. We’re in a RECESSION do people not understand that? I’ll wait for the dvd to come out.

If she would sell tickets for say…$10, the demand would far outweigh the available supply. Tickets to an event are limited, there are only so many people that can fit into a particular venue. Therefore, the goal is to make as much money as possible per ticket. Beyonce, like anyone else that has a job, is trying to get paid.

This sort of concert is premature, but as usual, Bey pushes the envelope and because it has worked more often than not or her team is able to salvage ill-advised moves,, she can’t stop..when it’s God’s mercy and grace…long-suffering…not just her machine. I understand the impulsiveness or compulsion. When B takes a break and looks back and say to herself “what was I thinking?”…get some rest…delve deeper into the artistry portion of what she does…just focus on the acting for two years straight…do some film soundtracks in the meantime and animation…use her powerful vocal range…put aside the sex symbol or sasha fierce imagery…focus on purity of soul…equity…CGI…COURAGE…GENEROSITY…INTEGRITY…this along with her immense God given talent and spectacular beauty will give her true success and happiness. There can only be peace and happiness in HARMONY…this requires…BALANCE…regardless of who you are and what you have…this is the job we all have in common.
