I went to a concert for her BDay Tour and trust that was the last time I go see that woman in concert. She can sang but its too commercialized, scripted and totally not worth that price even if its in Vegas!

I mean this is also a different version of her concerts, it’s a smaller venue, more intimate, and being taped for DVD. These are only for the folks who can afford them and if you can’t do like me and see her when she comes to or near your state. Anyway I’m loving the whole Theiry Mugler theme for her tour. I think it’s different and the costumes are out of this world. #32. The $250 tickets are just for the tickets. The hotel packages start at $450 (PER PERSON) and that includes 2 nights in a hotel room and then the prices go up from there.

Ok folks this is the story of why the ticket prices are so high. The venue where the concert will be is very small, approx. 1800 people can get in there. Therefore they have to have the ticket prices higher to meet the tour budget. Beyonce doesn’t control the prices for tickets and she is not getting ALL of that money! There’s a tour budget for crew, sound, tech, dancers, props, etc. And its four days because they have to make up what for what they would get at a larger arena. These tickets were sold out in 2 hours!!! At this show because the theater is so small everyone will see B up close and personal!! Trust ME she will definitely give them their monies worth!

If she would sell tickets for say…$10, the demand would far outweigh the available supply. Tickets to an event are limited, there are only so many people that can fit into a particular venue. Therefore, the goal is to make as much money as possible per ticket. Beyonce, like anyone else that has a job, is trying to get paid.

This sort of concert is premature, but as usual, Bey pushes the envelope and because it has worked more often than not or her team is able to salvage ill-advised moves,, she can’t stop..when it’s God’s mercy and grace…long-suffering…not just her machine. I understand the impulsiveness or compulsion. When B takes a break and looks back and say to herself “what was I thinking?”…get some rest…delve deeper into the artistry portion of what she does…just focus on the acting for two years straight…do some film soundtracks in the meantime and animation…use her powerful vocal range…put aside the sex symbol or sasha fierce imagery…focus on purity of soul…equity…CGI…COURAGE…GENEROSITY…INTEGRITY…this along with her immense God given talent and spectacular beauty will give her true success and happiness. The calibre of people attending this event probably won’t be the elite or even the wealthy, it will be the types who spend their earnings buying a new beyonce-esque weave instead of paying their rents. The types who are incredibly broke but still spend money on the latest designer gear- those are the sorts who would rather spend money seeing Beyonce rather than using their money wisely. The only exceptions will be the ‘new money’ types.

The only people I would pay around this much to see in concert are: Prince, Tina Turner, MJ (if he wasn’t crazy), Mariah (if her voice was up to scratch), Sam Cooke, Billie Holiday (if they were alive) and thats pretty much it. Bey isn’t a legend so to charge more tha Madonna, Celine, Mariah is pushing it.

Plus I’ve seen Beyonce and Alicia Keys live (met her too) and I didn’t pay a penny! I’d pay to see Alicia but I’d only pay £30-40 max and I wouldn’t bother seeing B again

I love Bey to death and I have seen her with her first album (when she toured with Missy and Alicia) and with DC for the Destiny’s Fulfilled tour. Honestly, after you have seen her once, you really straight. I thought about going to the Beyonce Experience year before last but her prices were too much and I felt like its really the same type of show from her first tour just a different CD (even though I did buy it on DVD, which is probably what I will be doing for this tour also). I am sorry when I saw the set list for the I AM tour I decided its not worth it either, I mean come on she is still doing the Destiny’s Child medley! Once you seen her once live, really that’s all you need to see.
