Although The Dream released his latest album, Love vs. Money not too long ago in March, he has already diligently begun work on his third studio album, Love King for December release.
“I have to pace myself ’cause there’s so much time between here and then,” The Dream says, “but the seven records I do have are timeless records. Whether they come out now or later it’s not really going to matter what kind of records they are.”
Little is known about the album, except for there will be a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana.” The Dream hasn’t confirmed any album features either, insisting that it’s something he doesn’t really worry about until the creative process is coming to a close.
In addition to working on Love King, The Dream has been juggling sessions for forthcoming projects from Mariah Carey, Brandy, Christina Milian and Diddy.
AMERIE REVEALS NEW SINGLE
Amerie recently confirmed via her Twitter that she was in the mixing process for her new single, “Why R U?”
“Hey everyone! I just mixed the first single…! “Why R U” …I’m sooo excited!”
It was announced earlier that her album was to be titled, Break Ups to Make Ups, but it seems that Amerie and Def Jam have decided to release the album under the title, In Love & War.
Amerie also revealed via Twitter that she has been secretly recording new music in Atlanta and that a late summer July/August release date is confirmed. It’s unclear the direction that Amerie is taking this time around, considering that no material has leaked and she has worked with a host of writers and producers, including Sean Garrett, The Dream & Tricky Stewart, Dallas Austin, Rodney Jerkins, Pharrell and a host of others. We’ll see, Amerie!

With the recent success of their single, “So Good,” Electrik Red is ready to release their debut album, How to Be A Lady: Volume 1 via Radio Killa Records/Def Jam. The girls have been getting rave reviews from many publications.
The album, which is executive produced by The Dream, Tricky Stewart and the late Shakir Stewart, is said to be filled with 14 tracks “that ooze femininity, tongue in cheek lyrics and ‘radio killing’ productions.” Check out the tracklisting below.

It’s interesting that some of the titles on Elektrik Red’s is very similar to Ciara’s new album, FANTASY RIDE, not sure if this is JUST a coincidence, but both artists have worked with the dream. It would b interesting to see how the songs sound, like “P is for Power”, on Ciara’s it’s “G is for Girl”, “Muah” is like “Pucker Up”, and “Go Shawty”, could be like “Go Girl” (which didn’t make Ciara’s album’s tracklist, but it’s on the deluxe edition as a video bonus!), quite interesting…..

Check them out on youtube, their home vids and performances are the best imo. after u done that then give ur opinions cause they ain’t no vid ho’s (a vid ho is Lola Luv). they are all 4 professional dancers, who sometimes played the roles of vid vixens. the ho quotes aren’t needed. They all went to prestigious performing arts schools and learned various disciplines of performing e.g. singing, drama, ballet, drawing, piano ect! So think before u say they aren’t talented. The Dream-Eh, I’m not really fan of his music. I only like a few of songs here and there.
Amerie-Yes! I love all her albums and I’ve been waiting on new material from her for the longest. I think this new album from her is going to be really banging, she’s said she’s been pulling long hour sessions in the studio according to her Twitter. She’s really taking her time to make sure everything is on point.
Electrick Red- The only song I like from them so far is “So Good”, but I’ll give their album a listen anyway to see if I like it, once it pops up on imeem.
