NEWS BIT: RIHANNA TO TAKE THE STAND IN CHRIS’ FELONY ASSAULT CASE

Looks like Rihanna will have to take the stand in Chris Brown’s felony assault case on June 22nd, her attorney confirmed:

“The judge advised me that there will be a subpoena for Rihanna as a witness at the preliminary hearing,” Donald Etra told E! News after a morning hearing. “She will definitely comply.”

And according to Chris’ attorney Mark Geragos, Chris will also be present at the hearing and will listen to her testimony: “He has to be here anytime a witness is called” said Geragos.

On Thursday, a judge denied a motion by Geragos, to require the LAPD to release confidential records to determine who leaked a photo of a beaten Rihanna to the media. Chris has pleaded not guilty to assault and criminal threats charges stemming from their February incident.

Thank you so much for your comment number 5, and others on here that I agree with. I just hope everything blows over soon. We all don’t know the truth and since we don’t we can’t really bash or say anything about anyone. I agree it’s not fair that they putting CB through all this when Rihanna isn’t going through anything and both of them were to blame. But hopefully Chris Brown can make a comeback and his new cd does well. he does have a big fan base no matter what at the end of the day.
