LaLa Vazquez, who is best known as a VJ, reality TV host and fiancee of Denver Nuggets star, Carmelo Anthony, had to get real during a playoff game in Dallas on Monday night.
Footage taken at the game showed LaLa cursing and getting hostile as security guards tried to escort her out of the stands …
LaLa recently released a statement stating that there were racial taunts and violent threats from Dallas fans, and this initially started the verbal altercation:
“Obviously playoff games bring out the best and the worst in fans but what happened on Monday night with the racial slurs / threats, verbal attacks on my son and physical attacks to myself by irate fans was completely unacceptable.
In related news, The fans were totally out of control. What the cameras captured was me defending myself and didn’t show the abuse that was taking place.”
LaLa is a judge on VH1′s Charm School, which is premiered this week on VH1.

TO YOYO: ur effin dumb. obviously she was sticking up for her son. We’ve all seen her on tv and we know that she can be classy and that she has a head on her shoulders. This was result of fact that fans were upset at the Nuggets for the Error one of the refs made in the previous game. Its also a result of the fact that mark cuban told Kenyan Kartin’s mom that the Nuggets were a”nothing but thugs” after finished cursing out half of the crowd. She wasn’t the only Nuggets fan or family member of a Nuggets team member to receive bad treatment that day.
Mark Cuban set the tone for all of this. And then he waited until after they won the next game to give a weak ass backhanded complement on his Blog instead of inperson face to face.

They were talking about this on ESPN. The Dallas fans were acting up and getting in LaLa and KMart’s Mom’s face. It all stems from the comments Mavs owner, Mark Cuban, made about the Nuggets being a bunch of thugs and specifically told KMart’s mom that her son was a thug. People are a trip. Does harrassing someone’s family cause their team is winning or whatever make your team start winning? Calm the HECK down…ya’ll don’t get a dang thang if the Mavs were to win, so bring it down cause it is not that deep.
LaLa had every right to defend herself and her son. Cuban had the nerve to say that they could sit in his box for the next game.
That’s right girl!!! Stand up for yourself!!!! You see what Mark “The Idiot” Cuban said to Keyon’s mother. They better chill out & leave people’s families out this. SMH
I work in a 20,000 seat Arena. We are trained to escort people out no matter who’s right or wrong…. and in that hostile environment it was for LaLa’s safety and for the safety of her family that she was escorted out. The security guards are fully aware that these situations can occur, so it wasnt to embarass her.
My own personal view is that when you have an owner of a team exhibiting the same behavior and making racist remarks to the family of a player, then fans take note and will do the same…. The NBA should really step in and fine Mark Cuban for starting this mess.
I believe her. I’ve been in those situation where OTHER ppl say racial things and then when you react to it THEY stay calm and YOU look like the agressor. I wish Lala would’ve played it cool and not have fed into their game. Keep your head up Lala.
