Sad news to report. Mike Tyson’s daughter passed away early Tuesday afternoon. Here is the info:
Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead just before noon, police Sgt. Andy Hill said. She had been on life support and police have said their investigation showed her injury on Monday was a “tragic accident.”
“There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus,” the family said in a statement. “We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.” [SOURCE]
The 4-year-old daughter of former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson was critically injured on Monday in what police said was a tragic accident at home. According to reports, Exodus Tyson was found by her 7-year-old brother hanging from the cord of a treadmill. At press time was reported to be in “extremely” critical condition and on life support at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The toddler was reportedly playing near the exercise equipment in the family’s Phoenix home while her mother was elsewhere in the house cleaning on Monday morning. When her mother sent the boy to look for Exodus, he found her tangled in the cord. He alerted the mother, who immediately called 911 and began performing CPR.
“Somehow the little girl got something caught across her throat, she became unresponsive, the boy went and got the mother, and the mother came out and found the child,” Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Hill told the Phoenix Fox affiliate.
Tyson, who has been promoting a documentary about his life for the past month, “Tyson,” was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and reportedly flew home immediately upon receiving word of it.
Police are calling the mishap a “tragic accident.” A police spokesperson said that there was “nothing in the investigation that revealed anything suspicious.”

Oh my goodness this is so tragic, I pray that God will lay his hands upon her and she will make it out okay…I can’t imagine how that must feel as a parent.

A tragic accident like this happened in my family . It happens so quickly and out the blue. Just letting the little ones out of your site for a minute anything can happen. So let just keep them in prayer. Let’s pray God pulls this baby through.

This is very tragic. But I want to say to the fathers out there and “to be” fathers out tthere. Is it worth living OUTSIDE of the home? Really. Would you want the guilt of your guidance not having been available in a tragedy like this? The simply lock on a workout room, for instance, that one partner might overlook but you might not is an excellent reason to father only the children you expect to raise.

Myshel, how could it not be an accident. You must not have any kids…it is so easy for a child that age to to turn it on, get on the machine, then she might have made it go real fast, she slipped and fell and the cord got wrapped around her neck. I have a 3 year old…I know…They are into everything. And they might have had a big house, …mother is in one part of the house cleaning, child doing something in another room. That is simply not neglect it is called a freak accident…..

It is a tragic thing that happend to the tysons family. I am a mother of 5 and young and I keep a close eye on my children it only takes 1 second away from youre child and somthing could happen tragic.Why was she left alone so that can happen to her?I feel so sad that she did not make it RIP my children and I will keep the family in prayer.
