Please don’t hate. I don’t like Ashanti at all either but let’s be quite honest here, the girl could sing. Is she a Mariah, Beyonce, Whitney, Christina, Leona? Of course not! But does she have a bit of talent for singing? Yes, she actually does.

Now, aside from that atrocious outfit, I would have to say she does look pretty decent here. Her eye makeup is a little heavy though, it makes her look a little TRANNY. Overall, I can’t hate. I may not like her ghetto, obnoxious arse but there is one thing between HATING and CRITIQUING/HONESTY.

Anyway, I personally do think Ashanti can sing. But the thing is, I don’t like her AT ALL. There is not one characteristic about her that I’m actually fond about. However, the girl can sing. I mean honestly, you can hate her all you want but to sa she can’t sing is a stretch. Have you heard “The Way That I Love You”? I’m sure you have and no one can say that her voice is not powerful in that song. Put it this way, if she can’t sing what does Rihanna do? If she can’t sing what does C.MILLI do? If she can’t sing what does Lady Gaga do? And so on….

I’m actually a singer myself; I sing, dance,play the piano and violin. I’ve gone through music classes for years and voice lessons. Not to be rude, But I’m pretty sure I have a clue as to what a person with a voice sounds like.

Like a prevously stated, her voice is not anything special. In fact there are plenty of Ashanti’s in every town, but she does have talent. It may not be strong, but yes, she can sing. You can still beleive what you want but thats my point.

No, No, No! The Wiz is like one of my FAVORITE musicals! I can’t even imagine Ashanti playing anyone in that besides one of the background dancers.

Why does Ashanti always have the mind frame of SEX SELLS look at the last picture do you guys see how short her dress actually is. If it was a tab shorter you can see her you know what.
