Singer Jordin Sparks (Season 6 winner of American Idol) is seen backstage at the American Idol Season 8 Elimination Show on Wednesday night in Los Angeles, California.
The 19 year-old was there to perform her new song, “Battlefield” and after watching her performance I can definitely say she stepped her game up this time around. Peep more photos and performance video below.

omg..like she looked badd last night!! (and the good kinda badd) lol..she’s freakin hot!
The song is ok. The performance seems like it was ok and this is due to the fact that someone taped it from their tv using a camcorder. The volume was a little low and there were waves going through the screen. Jordin Sparks is a decent young artist. Good thing she’s not being marketed as a overrated sex symbol. I would rather have my nieces listen to and watch Jordin, JoJo, Tiffany Evans, and Karina Pasian than Rihanna.

Totally agree with #57- Jordin can sing, but her voice is indistinctive. She sings like any decent pop/r&b vocalist plus her style of music doesn’t fit into any category. She’s definately an artist for the teeney bopper/disney channel age group. Its also ironic that she won AI the same year Leona won Xfactor, and they’re both under Clive Davis’ umbrella. I defnately suspect that was done deliberately- but I guess its old news now.
However, its good to see women/girls like Jordin, Chrisette and Jazmine Sullivan who aren’t the typical stick thin hollywood types. I can’t believe people call her fat

Jordin is Hot
Big-ups to Jordin Sparks! She looked and sounded amazing, and worked the stage like a part-time job! I think that the song is well written, and Jordin did an amazing job on the vocals – so I really hope that it does well on the charts, and that Jordin continues to get the respect and the accolades that she deserves.
On a different note, I understand that is a natural tendency for people to compare new artists (which she is not) or new music to artists and songs that they know; but it is annoying as hell, when people want to compare her to a certain person or say that she is trying to sing like this individual, when the girl is just doing her thing. There is not a strong enough similarity in sound, vocal range, skin complextion, style, etc. for these two women to be compared – so I encourage people not to compare.
