FIrst of all the Knowles family seems to be cool. They aren’t caught up in any excessive scandals and they seem to have a strong bond. No one has come close, not even Usher or Jay-Z. Black folks are the ones supporting her the most. Other races have their big stars that they cherish way above this chick. She’s good but I think her fans are going overboard with her fame and relevance. On mainstream sites Beyonce is nothing more than another star in the mist. She is hardly mentioned if at all. To my understanding, (and before you start calling someone a hater learn how to use the word) as a solo artist Beyonce has only sold a total of 21 million records so far. Dangerously in Love sold 11 million, Bday sold 6 million, and I Am sold 4 million…..being that she came from a huge fanbase with DC it seems her fanbase is declining. We cannot include Dc #’s because it was a group effort, there were other girls that also sold millions of records. Beyonce is outselling black artist right now but but not outselling whites, Britney Spears has sold 83 million records to date and white people are itching to make her this generations pop star. Even non singing ass Jennifer Lopez has sold over 28 million copies. I refuse to believe that no one is buying records because of internet, if artist made good classic albums then people would buy it….No artist are trying to make classics they are just trying to keep up with the jone’s, where are the Thriller, Purple Rain, Rhythm Nation albums?
