Black Eyed Peas – I’mma Be (full) – listen
“I’mma Be” is the follow-up single for the Black Eyed Peas latest album, The E.N.D., which is set to drop this summer on June 9th. Their current single, “Boom Boom Pow” is doing well on the airwaves. I’m glad that BEP is back, making good dance music, but I was really looking forward to Fergie giving us a second solo studio album.
Lloyd – I Don’t Wanna Be That (full) – listen
Lots of Lloyd material has been leaking as of late. He didn’t release his third album, Lessons In Love that long ago, but it seems that they’re already back in the studio, grinding out tracks for his fourth studio album. The track was produced by none other than the talented Bryan-Michael Cox. Lloyd, to me, is really one of the only male R&B vocalist that has gotten any real love the past year, so perhaps he’ll knock out some hits again this time around.
Jennifer Lopez – One Love (full) – listen
J. Lo is coming with some heat this time around for her Greatest Hits album. I’m actually a little disappointed that she isn’t doing a full album, if this is the type of material that she’s serving us up with. From “Hooked On You,” to “What is Love,” and now this, J. Lo might as well give us a full-length album with tracks that feel like this. The dope writing team A-Plus is responsible for this record. I’m definitely looking out for them.
Ciara – Fit of Love (full) – listen
It’s weird to me that all these Ciara records that were meant to be bonuses that didn’t make the record all managed to say safe before the release of the album. “Fit of Love” isn’t a bad track, but I can definitely see why it didn’t make the initial cut of the album. The production pretty much saves the song for me, but I actually prefer the “When I” bonus record.

i like j lo song, nice beat, Lloyd’s and ciara’s songs are really mellow. ciara’s leaked some time back around November i think. even though i am not a fan of her vocals i can tolerate this song. it is nice and mellow.
Dont really like Lloyd on slow ballads. JLO’s song isn’t half bad. I actually REALLY like the Ciara song. Go figger–i like two songs from two mediocre singers. WOW lol
Brian whats with the over praising of Jennifers song? I don’t want to say the review sounded pathetic but something about it sounded a little desperate. The song is alright, It’s nothing that we haven’t already heard from any other female artist out there. I would prefer something more upbeat from Jennifer with a latin. I’ve heard better reviews from others artist. I like Ciara’s song, I love that she isn’t afraid to take new directions with her music, even if other people are afriad to except something that isn’t drenched in Hip Hop. It shows growth on her part as an artist. This should have been a main track on her album. Not fans of the other two artist so I didn’t give them a listen.
its always a good summer when the black eyed peas come out with a new one!!!!! use to be a ciara fan but she lost her swag if you ask me. wont listen to her songs anymore. im going to bring it back to the BEP they always come at us with a fun unique style. not racist but im tired of hearing rappers talk about there thug lifes and how hood they are bla bla bla fuck it and give us somthing thats just fun!!! I think that J-Lo song was pretty tight. Some ppl are forgetting how successful Jennifer was in her prime. At the height of her music career no one rivaled her in the pop genre but Britney Spears. That being said, if u weren’t a fan of her then, you won’t be now.
I BEEN knowing about Ciara’s “Fit of Love” song, and it is AMAZING. However, with the Lloyd write up, did you mean to say, Lloyd is one of the only male vocalists who DIDN’T get any love this past year? Because he definitely didn’t, I forgot what is album was called, and he only had that one song wit Lil Wayne. Just a thought.

All of these songs were wack except J Lo’s. BEP can be very annoying. I’m glad No Doubt is reuniting this year. Now that’s a real band with music that is actually fresh, upbeat, and enjoyable without being corny or lame.
