It’s killing me how people keep asking where Monica gets all of this money from. Monica has been in the game since 1994 at 14 years old (singing on the Panther Soundtrack “Freedom”) but had a deal since 1992 at age 12. With first and second album selling 4 million copies each, 1 platinum and 1 gold CD, not to mention the countless # of multiplatinum singles (that’s only including domestic not international sales)….. are you serious for asking. And also being recognized as the youngest female in history to hold titles that NO FEMALE has yet to break. Not to mention a model and spokesperson for Chanel. That’s where she gets all of her money. Also…ROYALTIES. Monica has rocked the short har when no one else did. Monica is naturally thin (model type chick). The haters wish they could be her size. How many people do you know can have two kids and still look that good at 29 (in Oct). Monica’s style has always been original. Furthermore, the question was “who rocked it better” not “who has the most money”. I am a fan of both, but I think Monica looked better. And for the ones that are comparing her finances to Rhi Rhi…please. Being current and having one double platinum album does not equal more money. But again, Monica “wore it better”……
