I’m not saying that other arist didn’t have short hair. All I’m saying at the time Rihanna came out with the Jet Black short hair no other artist was sporting jet black hair at the time. Everyone was on the blonde hair bandwagon and was either wearing blonde long hair or blonde short hair. That’s one of the reasons Rihanna stood out more.

Monica always had short hair but I had never seen it jet black like it is now. This is the first time. I saw her with blonde hair and it was horrible on her.
