It’s not secret that Keri Hilson first made a new for herself in the music industry as a songwriter, so it’s no surprise that her demo version of Mary J. Blige’s new track, “Stronger” has leaked.
The Polow Da Don-produced track is to appear on Mary J.’s forthcoming project, which is shaping up to sound pretty good. “Stronger” is definitely a nice song.

I picked Keri. The reason why I picked her was because they had to add a little extra with Mary’s voice. That’s all Keri. Mary has to have a little back up some time. I love both of them tho

BRIAN , Please post the other version of the song by Esther Dean-Stronger. It’s a better a comparison with Mary J. Blige’s version. When you here Esther Dean’s version I think you will agree. She may not be well know or know at all but it’s worth a listen the song fits her better. Although I do like Mary version I just think Esther dean really made the song her own in her own right. Brain Please Post the other version.

Keri, because she is singing on her own. You know MJB can’t sing without electronic help. In fact, you can hear it in her voice.
I’ll say it’s a tie…. Keri’s version wasn’t pushing too much emotion cuz it was just a demo & Mary’s emotion on her record wasn’t her best (I blame the record; doesn’t scream MJB)… I can appreciate Mary’s voice (although clearly altered), but I prefer Keri’s voice on the chorus & her overall ability to NOT over-sing a record (like MJB).

Imma agree that both killed it! Mary gets you feeling a lil deep with it like it touches you in a different way. Keri did a good job cause it make you feel like where my baby at right now so I can tell him this and Mary’s like like me show him this.

Mary her voice is just so solid and she gives songs power in the way and how she sings them.
idk i prefer mary’s version but i can understand why someone would like keri’s version better. keri does glide over it more but mary makes me feel more so i chose her. when i played keri’s version, it didn’t grab my attention so i ended up not noticing when it finished but mary made me listen

wow, i like both, but they make them seem like two different songs, which is a good thing. Mary mos def has a thick, deep voice that gives you that R&B/soul feel and Keri has a nice tone that gives you more of a pop/top 40 feel to it. Mary made it feel like an anthem, hence the title and Keri made it feel like a love song.
I don’t think Keri is singing it as if it was 4 her album…Mary put more into hers cause it’s 4 hers lol….It’s definitely more of a Keri song tho…kinda feels like Mary is belting out in the beginning…no doubt Keri’s writing skills are stupid good….she’ll go far just like Mary has…Mary’s the bomb 2

I think both Keri & Mary did a wonderful job on Stronger. Mary just have that rich, deep passion when she sings. U definitely feel more emotion from her; Mary made the song more of an anthem of survival. Keri made it more of a love song.

I actually liked both. I do think this song is typically very well suited to “Ms. Keri, baby” but, I think Mary’s arrangement complimented her voice superbly. Overall, it’s just a well written and produced song. On a side note, I thought the background vocals were James Fauntleroy, at first. I guess Chris is gonna make his money regardless, huh?

I listened to all 3 versions. I have to say. I liked all 3 becuase each artist gave the song their own style vocally.
Well, first please allow me to admit I am a straight up bonafide “MJB ADDICT”. So with that being said of course I was prepared to autuomaticly have my vote ready for Mary, but as I legitamally gave each version a listen, I notice that I actually enjoyed the begining of Keri’s version better because of the sheer way she rides the beat. With mary’s version, mary is a veteran her approach to the song was totally different, she slowly builds the song and completely kills it emotionally (eg: Mariah Carey-) at the end.Honestly the song is better suited for Keri’s style, she makes you believe it.Mary makes you feel it.LOVE them both I’ll have to give my vote this time to Miss Keri Babaaay.
Keri Hilson sounds like she is whining. Ugh it’s annoying I wish she would turn it down a notch she has a high whiny voice and I just can’t listen to it.
Mary J puts too much emotion in it. She could have been more subtle in some areas. I think your voice is supposed to glide through this song. It aint right for neither one of them. But if i had to choose it would be Mary because hers is less annoying.
