Check out this new buzz single from Jojo entitled, “25 To Life”. We posted her remix to Drake’s “Houstatlantavegas” earlier this week, so it’s good to hear some more new music from her.
The 18 year-old is currently going through some label drama with Blackground Records and is trying to finalize a new distribution deal so she can release her third completed album, All I Want Is Everything. In the meantime, she will be attending Northeastern University and concentrating on new music.

i think that people need to stop hatin on the girl because thats exactly what she is, a young woman. okay, you love the marsha version better, think about how long it takes for someone to get a voice like that and how old jojo is. she is only and 18 and she stills has a voice that would shut down any ciara, rihanna, or any of them other chicks. she has been a crazy talent since she first came out and she was only 14. think about it, now while i am a fleotry fan hardcore i wouldnt compare them because i know they are two different people with two different singing styles ya dig.. and all these people talking bout how she need to go to college, where were you when beyonce first came out because she was 17. what about ciara, she wasnt any older than this age. i am all for education but who am i to tell a person i would rather for them to take a safer route than follow our dreams. hell most of us are sitting around right now wishing we could do what she is doing with half the pipes lol.. the young lady is doing her thing, so stop the comparisons and appreciate what she has to offer please.

Man JoJo is all grown up! It’s been so long since she been out! This song is so dope…anything she sings is amazing any way. JoJo is the Truth and definitely one of the greatest singers in the game. I can’t wait to hear her new music and how she’s grown. Get it JoJo!

Girl PLEASE! We have plenty, they just can’t sing and yall bump them like it aint nothing. The ones that can sing, yall don’t pay attention to. Look at how many comments Cassie got. All them people on Cassie post complaining could have been able to find some true talent if they listened to JoJo’s song. This is definitely not JoJo’s song. This is a cover that she did of Marsha A. (from the singing group Floetry) 25 to life. She can sing but it’s definitely not new music from her. It makes me upset because Marsha (even Floetry as a whole) is often overlooked.
I will definatly be buying JoJo’s album when it drops, this song is hot!

She is the ONLY white chick that truly has the crossover appeal, like Teena Marie before her. I can see JoJo having a long career in R&B, but not in pop music. She needs to just embrace the soulfulness that is natural to her and stop making the teeny bopper stuff.

I agree with #72 I been down with jojo since her first album. She’s a talented young lady and people need to remember that before they start bashing her. I love her voice and her looks. Yes, I think she should go to college BUT she should still pursue her MAJOR dream of being a STAR she has all the potential in the world. I hope she does good in school and makes a good comeback with her third album. Alot of people slept on her other 2. If anyone has her first album she sang SWV’s “Weak” and she effing blew that song out the water. I love her, and she’s actually talented unlike Cassie’s ass who can’t sing a lick but can get a record deal because of her looks and because she’s effing Diddy. Now that’s sad!!!!!!!!!

OMG! People up here is soooooo stupid! You have to get use to the song in order for you to catch the beat and goove off this song. I love this song…..I think Marsha Ambrous did a better job too like my boy “Scooby” said but i still think JoJo did a good job too. I dam sure be killing it dancing when i hear this…..its not hard to catch the beat, you just have to have rhythm.
I listened to both versions. I just don’t think Marsha did better. This song is very pop. I could not picture Marsha releasing this and people taking her serious and I’m sure her true fans would think she was selling out. Some of yall just liked hers better simply because she is black. JoJo gave more energy, i’m loving her complicated runs, her tone. This should be on her album.

i listened to marsha’s version and i honestly prefer jojo’s take on the song. marsha has a dope voice but it didn’t fit the song to me. it sounds like a song for someone younger and with a lighter, higher voice.

I bought both of Jojo’s albums in stores. Thats coming from someone who bootlegs everything. So If I take the effort to purchase an album you KNOW that person has to be hot and Jojo is mof def #1 in my book. I love that girl. I knew she was going to be something special the first time I heard “Leave (Get out)” her voice is just stunning and it just keeps getting better as she grows up.
