I can do without the Ni**a comments. I love chris brown on the song. I hope beT pays tribute to MJ in the gr8est possible way w/ Chris Brown leading the tribute. No one can emulate the great on like chris breezy.

  26. Ashley T.

I really like this song. R.I.P. M.J. – No more pain brother!

  27. that's hot

For a real tribute, we’re going to need

Old School: Whitney and Mariah belting it out (with cracks and all), aretha, rachelle Ferrell, Boys II Men, Stevie Wonder, and Patti shutting it down for everyone.

New School: Monica, Beyonce, Usher, and J-Hud (even in all of her shouting glory)

  28. man oh man

    @ 26..thats hot

i sooooo agree…even tho this is aight when i think of a tribute i think of the people you just named

and if those caliber of stars get together that will def be hot!

this one is nice tho…minus the referrin to MJ as my ni77a

  29. PYT

Love it minus The Game sorry but he does so much name dropping its ridiculous. Still missing him :( Love you MJ R.I.P

  30. PYT

Oh and Diddy of course please stop. That’s a good look for CB.

  31. RIP MJ

Nice song…we should not focus on the crazy stunts by anyone and thank them for the solace they brought to us (my opinion)…interesting how he was the butt of our many judgments and jokes but we now see not to take inspiration for granted…

despite his troubles and trials…he brought us contentment with entertainment…escapism…that did not stop him from being human…as we see he had his trials to deal with as well….i wish we can use that to understand the world and its people..for your best friend, your worst enemy and even with the chris brown thing…

we all know that none of this mess is good…ive studied the ideas of womanism so am very anti female abuse …nonetheless I know that people have their own deamons…hell i know i have my own…and we definately cannot pardon their iniquities …however I fell it is important for us to realize that own “icons and entertainers also have issues and deamons which is more so forced when they are under a constant watch and limelight….the difference between us and them is that we dont get caught ;-) … we are all misunderstood beings socialized in an unbalanced and jacked up society..with that said..lets honor MJ by ALSO not judging anyone including ppl like chris borwn because it could be argued that the stress from the torment, ridicule and being judged even for what our skin color “represents” to some, in even the slightest way contributed to MJ’s early, unexpected and unwanted demise….WITH THAT SAID….REST IN PEACE MICHAEL JACKSON……….

  32. Tiffanyj

I really like this song! That was really quick but what can you say we all love MJ and its just that easy for artist to write about him. They didnt need a week all they needed was a couple of hours thats how inspirational he is! I do wish that we could here more singing from the other artist in the song. but I’m glad that artist are coming together for MJ.

    R.I.P michael Jackson.

  33. Maino & Fee

will yall let it go about Chris Brown, darn..

yall wasn’ t hating Ike this long after he beat Tina, geeshhhh

  34. ill cry if i want too

less puffy talkin over a whole track stealin spotlight

    more boyz 2 men singing..

i need a real tribute to come out ..

this one is okay..their hearts were in the right place at least

  35. tia

I really like the song with EVERYBODY on it…it made me cry again…the ad libing made it hott actually it made it that more emotional….yall are so picky and judgemental i mean really…..it will prolly be one of many tribute songs knock it off

  36. kay

@12 shut the f up and get off of chris brown u know what its not about him ok

  37. mickrite

I think the song is thoughtful and sweet and full of the good things that MJ did and the paths he set for R&B/Pop singers today. Diddy’s talking always adds something “different ” to songs but it was still thoughtful.

  38. Nothing But Love

The song is ok but I dont like Chris Browns voice.

  39. go girl

    @32 maino and fee

and yea ike turner was never really in the spotlight anymore after that either and never had any major sucess after that…CB is shovin hiself down our throats

  40. TONYA

@37…YOU ARE A DUMB IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO PUNCH YOURSELF!

  41. GarneLL, wit 2 LL's

Can someone PLEASE tell me what kind of sneakers MJ is wearing in that pic? Those are awesome

  42. Honest Critic

This was pretty good…I heard it on the radio, but for a real hardcore tribute they need to bring out the veterans…Get Quincy Jones to produce it and get a bunch of hardcore people like he did for “Heal the World”…Whitney, MAriah, Stevie, Dionne Warwick, etc. This was a nice try though on such short notice but they need the veterans for this man.

  43. Move On

    @40
UMM I DOUBT U CAN FIND THOES SHOES ANYMORE THAT IS AN OLD ASS PIC

  44. Nothing But Love

    @Tonya

Have you been drinking?? why am i dumb because i dont like chris browns voice?? ur an idiot its a thing called an opinion u moron!!! you should go dig a whole and go bury urself for that comment..smh

  45. Why are people using this as an opportunity to trash Chris Brown it is a thoughtful gesture you would think that these folks on here sat on the throne in heaven

  46. Coolie_dyme

Although this is an old pic of MJ. Is kicks were FLY! i love them. Rest In Piece, Michael you will always be remembered. The song is not bad.

  47. vee

i have to say that some people are just disgusting. @joel, this is NOT about chris and don’t act like you know what his intentions are. is it too far-fetched to believe that he genuinely wanted to pay tribute to such an amazing performer? michael has touched sooo many people and if they want to pay tribute to him, i can only welcome it. it’s a beautiful thing to watch people showing him the respect and admiration that he always deserved

r.i.p. michael. no one could ever do what you did

  48. yep

I like the hook of the song. and look at his shoes. are those jordans?

  49. JstBReal

It was a really nice tribute and Im sure there are gonna be plenty more. Cant wait for the BET Awards and see what they come up with.

  50. call me crazy but...

It would be better without Chris Brown. He sounds like he is constipated he shouldn’t have done the chorus, just a verse and go on about his business.

OTHER THAN THAT. LUV THE SONG! ESPECIALLY TO HEAR BOYZ II MEN THE RAPPERS NEED TO SHUT UP! DAMN LET THE SINGERS SANG.

  51. justathought

it is a very nice song.

    RIP MJ

  52. TWEETBABES

Great tribute. Makes me sad as hell. I cried all day and last night. Sucks he’s gone

  53. Let It Marinate

NO ONE out is more Michael Jackson-esque that Chris Brown. I understand the events surrounding Chris Brown as of late but : A) Seeing that his case is at the end and B) the influence/affect that MJ has had on him I feel that he is the best person to pay a tribute from the MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT perspective.

I think everyone at the BET Awards this weekend should perform a MJ song, or routine from one of his videos b/c EVERY performer on the face of this earth owes credit to Michael Jackson for his contributions!

I like this tribute song. I know that everyone is ready willing and able to pay their respects to such a great man. With that said I think they should do another version without The Game and Diddy on it. (I’m tryna remain positive here)

I pray that everyone is able to put aside at least for now, the controversies that plagued MJ’s career and honor the many contributions he made to the world!

I still can’t process the fact that Michael isn’t comming back. I woke up this morning hoping it was a bad joke and am still waiting to wake up from this nightmare…..RIP MJ the King

  54. weezy baby

LOVE IT. R.I.P MICHAEL UR LEGACY LIVES ON FOREVER!!!!

  55. GarneLL, wit 2 LL's

Thanks, I know those sneakers are old, but if they get enough hype…u never know…they could do a re-release. Whatever they’re called lol, they’re being promoted right now

  56. call me crazy but...

I didn’t hear Usher. Umm maybe I missed it. Diddy did not need to be on there talking either.

  57. ms. complexity

This was terrible. The Game ruined it.

  58. KRR

Very nice.. would have been nicer without Diddy’s usual banter.. but still a touching tribute.. I am in shock. I’ve been fighting tears since I heard. Music has truly died now. Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, B.B. King are all that’s left of the true and relevant icons.

Wow, my heart is hearting right now, my dad died at 50 and it just reminds me so much of that, Bernie Mac too.. I just want to turn off my radio and bury it.
