NO ONE out is more Michael Jackson-esque that Chris Brown. I understand the events surrounding Chris Brown as of late but : A) Seeing that his case is at the end and B) the influence/affect that MJ has had on him I feel that he is the best person to pay a tribute from the MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT perspective.

I think everyone at the BET Awards this weekend should perform a MJ song, or routine from one of his videos b/c EVERY performer on the face of this earth owes credit to Michael Jackson for his contributions!

I like this tribute song. I know that everyone is ready willing and able to pay their respects to such a great man. With that said I think they should do another version without The Game and Diddy on it. (I’m tryna remain positive here)

I love this song. I respect Diddy for moving so quickly to pay homage. You know that man NEVER sleeps! I know there will be many more songs to honor Micheal from all types of artist. The song , isn’t on MJJ level, and if he was alive he would probably change the song around to make it nice, but we have to understand there is only one King of Pop, these young artists aren’t MJJ, and they did the best they could, considering the fact that they are grieving. Wow, grew up listening to MJ all my life. Nice song, Chris made the song in my book. The only problem I had was the rapper using the word my nigger. Go head with that. I would not buy it for that. But, hearing Chris let me know he did not deserve jail time. Hope he gets the help he needs to conquer the abuse he saw in his childhood. I’m still in denial, Michael has been apart of my life since i was born! I’ve never cried for a celeb before, but Michael isn’t just a celeb; he is far more than that, far more.

This song is beautiful and it came from a beautiful place with loving intentions. It is absolutely sick and disgusting to hear that some people think Chris is using the death of his IDOL/INSPIRATION to get into people’s good graces, SMH. I think that people who hate Chris are the only ones thinking that this is why he would do this. Even other people who hate Chris think differently, what does that say about you? If that whole incident hadn’t have happened I guarantee he’d still be on a MJ tribute track.

Everyone knows how much Chris loved MJ; you can see his influence in some of Chris’ videos:

I really like this song was great. I felt that it was appropriate for artists to create this song. But I do feel as though Diddy talking was not needed. I just hope that we all can take this all in i know i am watching all his videos and hearing everything that people have to say really makes you open your eyes and realize that there’s a need for change and MJ can never be thanked enough for all he’s contributed to us throughout his life.

It’s cool to want to give Michael props. But the question here is the quality of said “tribute” and using the N Word and having a woman beater on the track is not exactly something Michael would endorse given his own personal story and standards. I’m sure he would love that people respected his memory he has earned all of that love. But again we are talking about what is appropriate and what is in good taste. While these are subjective matters It’s fair to state the facts in this case. Chris Brown is offensive and so are Diddy and The Game. And this is counter to how Michael was as an artist and how most of us will remember him. If you can see past the vulgarity of Chris and these others god bless you because they are highly distracting for some. But then I refocus on Michael and this song is put into perspective. It’s a rather sloppy song and really has nothing to do with Michael Jackson’s Legacy.

i LOVE this song but i WISH Diddy gay ass wasn’t on it like 4real….he always find a way to be SO overbearing on a song and NEVER says anything special BUT i guess this isn’t about him, MJ right? This was an ok song I must say (minus the reference to Michael as “my ni**er”) I think they should have performed this on BET last night. As far as the negative comments about Chris Brown, they are insignificant because Michael was Chris’ idol as Chris has voiced this many times and Michael responded that he was glad that he had a positive influence on Chris. Chris always incorporated Michaels dances into his routines. If Chris would have performed last night, it would have been without a doubt, the best performance of the night because he would’ve put his all into it! I will wait for the tribute with real singers that were close to him
