Everyone knows that The Dream is throwing his career into overdrive, trying to step up his celebrity and also releasing albums back-to-back. Just a few months after the release of his sophomore album, Love vs. Money, The Dream is already gearing up for his third studio album, Love King.
But the new track, “Hit it On the Road” is supposedly taken from the upcoming re-release of Love vs. Money, coined the The Hangover edition. The re-release is slated to hit stores soon.

I really liked his first album, his second wasn’t so great but if this single is any indication of what “Love King” will be like….. I hate it! I get that he wants to stay relevent by bringing out back to back albums…. but sometimes you need your space and time as an artist to create a REAL masterpeice.

The-Dream just has fun with his different melodies and lyrics all the time.He’s influenced by R.Kelly (hello),Micheal Jackson(hee hee),Prince(oh ahh),Missy Elliot(whoo hoo) and Aaliyah(her voice was smoothe but she had a lot of range too)who are all very very GREAT.
I’m never offended by his lyrics that I hear because I’m always so into the beat of the music.
The-Dream will have longevity and even if he never sings again he will continue writing songs and make money off just that alone.

It’s funny because his songs seem very popular because he releases a good amount of them from his album and they are catchy and always play on the R&B radio stations but in reality his albums DO HORRIBLE! Go check billboard his latest album is already in the top 100! It barely went gold. Same with his album before this. He has poor album sales and his singles don’t do that well either. He’s all hype.
