Superstar Kanye West performs on stage during his benefit reception and concert on Thursday in Chicago, Illinois.
“Ye held the concert to reward Chicago Public Schools students who have improved their grades this year. The show–dubbed the Second Stay in School Benefit Concert– is an extension of the Kanye West Foundation, founded by the late Dr. Donda West, West’s mother. It is the first major event for the foundation since she passed away in ’07.
Celebrity guests included: Raven Symone, Michelle Williams and more.

Most people don’t realize that she has made a fortune over the years from her show, movies, deals with disney, music, product endorsements, etc. She is a brand that appeals to the tween audience. She still has her residual checks coming in as well.
