update: michael jackson has passed away
Celebrity news site TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital for cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles.
According to the L.A. Times, Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home.

UPDATE: The 911 call came in at 12:21PM at his Holmby Hills home in L.A.
UPDATE: A Jackson family member tells TMZ Michael is in “really bad shape” and the brothers are headed to UCLA.
UPDATE: We just got off the phone with Joe Jackson, Michael’s dad, who says “he is not doing well.” [SOURCE]

There is another site that said he was dead before he made it to the hospital. If he is still alive I do not think he will make it thru the night. Cardiac arrest is very serious. Lord I can’t take no more. I loved him in the 80′s just like any other pre-teen and teenage girl. Over the years he just became so strange. I just could not understand his behavior.

I remember back in the day when I was about 6 or 7 when my mom came home with a VHS featuring some of his music videos…I sang and danced to those songs for MONTHS everyday, until the tape was messed up.
I remember when he scared the SHIT out of my when I watched Thriller when I was about 8…I couldn’t even sleep without the light on for weeks.
Although he had all that drama, he is still a childhood icon for me and I still love his music. So many artists emulate his dance moves and strive to be as successful as he is.
I have not heard that he has died, and that’s the story I am sticking to.
I’m praying that God gives him strength and heals him.
I am watching all the cable news shows and no one has verified that he has died. In fact, Wolf Blitzer came on and said a reporter just talked to Randy Jackson (the brother) after 3 pm and he had collapsed earlier. No confirmation of death. I hope he pulls through and all the rumors are false.

Thank God for the gift of who we call Michael Jackson along with the strong gravitational pull that he has had in all of our lives……if anything is to be understood from this unexpectedly surreal scenario, it’s that we need to truly appreciate ALL of those around us because as time ebbs and flows, we can not stop someone from passing, but we have the opportunity to cherish them and thank God for them when they are here alive with us now!

I was listening to Human Nature yesterday and I said to myself, “Michael’s music will always sound good, 50 years from know I will someone will love this song.”
