I just wanted to say that I saw “The Wiz” and Ashanti did her thing. She sounded great and held her own. I must admit, when I first saw the rehearsal on line, I was a little skeptical. But seeing her perform and sing, I was pleasantly surprised. I definitely would go see her in another play.
I also love her with Nelly. They are so real and always stays under the radar. I was watching Shaq’s comedy special that was filmed during All Star Weekend, and both Ashanti and Nelly were there. So for all those, that think it is for publicity, think again.
I WENT TO SEE THE WIZ ON WED. NIGHT, AND I WAS ALSO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH HER VOICE. I DIDN’T KNOW SHE COULD HIT THE NOTES THAT SHE DID..
..BUT HER ENERGY AND ACTING WERE BAD…HER ARMS WERE GLUED TO HER SIDES THE WHOLE PLAY. DURING DANCING SCENES SHE’D SHIMMY A LIL HERE AND THERE BUT NO REAL ENERGY, TICHINA AND DAWNN DEFINITELY OUTDID HER IN HER OWN PLAY WITH THEIR SMALL ROLES.
AND WHEN WE WAITED BY THE STAGE DOOR AFTERWARDS TO MEET THE CAST, SHE CAME OUT LAST AND HAD HER CAR WAITING OUTSIDE AND SHE’S A LITTLE RUDE, SHE SIGNED SOME AUTOGRAPHS AND RAN AWAY AND AT ONE POINT SHE TOOK SOME PLAYBILLS AND SIGNED IT NEAR HER CAR AND HAD HER BODYGAURD SENT IT BACK JUST SO THEY WON’T ASK FOR A PICTURE. TICHINA AND DAWNN WERE PLESANT!!

I am always amazed at how 2 sided people can be! First y’all clown Ashanti for not having a career and then when it’s been a min since y’all seen her, y’all wanna praise her LMMAO! Some of the biggest stars show up at K Lounge to do videos, and now they are going to be filming a movie and a series there. Its going to be hot…!!!! They have a afterwork dance party every weekday at 5pm, $6 drinks, $4 beers till 8pm. Come relax and chill as the Dj rocks all types of music. There are some events like the MTV/Viacom event May Wed 25 of 2011 at 5pm, Latin Saturdays with 5 Star, Live band every two weeks starting 5/26/11, Dj the other weeks spinning House, R&B, Latin, Hip Hop plus classics.
