Serena’s pants aren’t flattering to her shape. It looks like she lost some weight (& her hips), she seems more toned than I remember. Her hair looks like the part is crooked and like they just brushed it into that style. If they didn’t feel like combing it, they could have done a more sleek, straightened look. Not trying to be funny but something tells me white ppl did this (they don’t know how to lay down black ppls hair).
Oh and Serena’s shoulders and chest are GORGEOUS! Arms not so much.

@28, don’t be afraid to see it! You are absolutely right, there are not a lot of white hairstylist that know how to do black hair…point blank. Clearly, Serena needs a relaxer or some serious heat. She may be getting ready to be braided up or something for the tournament.I knew of one white hairstylist that could work some black hair and she was in a salon in NY. There may be others I am sure, but they are few and far between. The thing is I can not figure out the what her hairstyle is supposed to be. It almost look like Serena threw it up some kind of way herself, like now I got to go to this bs. She don’t look too much like she wanted to be bothered witht he event, at least to me. Body language looks uneasy.

I’m going to assume since Ralph Lauren sponsored the party, all the ladies are wearing his designs. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they are all wearing a similar color. So you can’t blame Serena’s stylist for those hateable harem pants. Nevertheless, they all look great!
These girls are spectacular and not many people can take a camera in there face and come out looking like fashion model, they have their own brand of beauty. They are more than looks, these girls have done something that the world hadn’t seen and it only gets better. They are most hated and receive death threats to do what they do…black women spend so much time talking about looks…we are still color struck and fawn over people who look like how we wish we looked, but don’t!

Not a lot of black hairstylists can do black hair either, and that’s why they do what you’ve suggested- relax or straighten it. No one NEEDS a relaxer or heat.
