Keri’s pics are absolutely gorgeous…the girl has an incredible face!!! It’s nice to see a different figure type representing for black women…all black women ain’t thick and it ain’t cute or unhealthy when it spends too out of control and turns into obesity…we have Angie Stone, Ledisi, Michelle Chrisette, Ciara, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jill Scott, Erykah, Michelle Obama, Estelle, Alicia Keys, Keshia, Monica, Kelly Rowlands and the list goes on…there’s room for more than one beautiful black singer or entertainer at a time…this woman is beautiful by anybody’s standard!!!
You’re not jumping the B-ship to not criticize or dislike anyone who is as or more beautiuful than Beyonce or does something super-fantastic, eventually, there will be another artist (super star) who is celebrated more for how her light skinned gorgeous looks than her art. The industry is going to come to depend on many aritists selling gold or less than one or two mult-platinum selling artists…for them to survive…they’re going stop with signing singers with marginal vocal ability and bring artists with the look and pipes…they created this current landscape, so I don’t hate artists who don’t have a fiive octave range…so, Britney Spears, Ciara, Rihanna, and others will continue to succeed…it’s the next generation that will demonstrate strong vocalists…there will always be room for the next Janet Jackson.
Kudos to Keri…she’s making it happen and has taken control of her career and not depending on the label to properly promote her…in this economy Keri is doing quite well and I like her presentation and bravado!

Um i have to disagree with you there because Beyonce is one of my all time favorite R&B Artist and she is liek the Queen of R&B. BET Pratically worships her. She started out doing R&B Music with DC and she continued to with her first solo album and B’day. I Am…has a few Pop/R&B Songs though but she is still an R&B Artist. only other Pop records she had out before I Am was Irreplaceable and Beautiful Liar. She’s like B.Spears, Britney has a few R&B Records but she is considered Pop.

Whateva y’all talking about…..she’s confused about her image. Can’t you tell her team is marketing to see which image the public would accept from her to make record sells? It’s just marketing. Exactly! Keri is fooling alot of people. There is nothing real about her. That’s why she always feel the need to tell people she is real. Her record label tried different images and went with whatever worked, and she is riding it out.
I don’t see the beauty in those pictures. She looks like a little boy.

particular post is not about Bey, Its about a PHOTO shoot for Keri Hilson. All artist have pit falls at one time or another. If you want to state facts them state them all. Although Bey is doing her thing on the charts she is bombing out in other categories. Why not talk about that. Not only have her record sales dropped but she has struggles tremendously in the theatre as well. . Again, they all have areas to address.
